BoA to have her own Comeback Show entitled 'BoA 4354'

Singer BoA who is returning to the K-Pop scene for the first time in 2 years with her 7th album will be performing her comeback show on SBS.

SBS will be broadcasting BoA‘s comeback show ‘BoA 4354‘ on July 28th. She will be showcasing her self-composed title song “Only One” for the very first time.

This program will be directed and managed by the staff of SBS ‘K-Pop Star‘, a show on which BoA displayed her attentive yet blunt judging style.

The number ’4354′ in ‘BoA 4354′ represents the amount of days that’s passed between BoA’s first debut stage which took place on August 27th 2000, and the date of the airing of the show, July 28th 2012.

Her new album drops July on 22nd through online music sites, and will begin selling off-line in stores starting on July 25th.

D-Unit to show their debut progress through reality show, ‘Welcome to D-Unit’

Hip hop girl group D-Unit will be showing their debut progress through MBC Music‘s new reality program, ‘Welcome to D-Unit‘.

The reality show will focus on the girls completing missions given to them by senior hip hop musicians and work towards better perfecting themselves as a hip hop girl group. This will be their first official greeting with their fans ahead of their debut next month.

The first episode will feature the girls earning words of advice from Leessang and Psy, who not only both praised the girls on their talents, but also claimed that they’ll bring great things to the industry with their debut.

‘Welcome to D-Unit’ will air every Wednesday at 7 p.m. KST starting on July 18th.

B.A.P’s title track MV teaser “No Mercy” to be released today + new “Pop Boy” photos!



TS Entertainment revealed to allkpop today, that B.A.P’s first mini-album title song will be, “No Mercy“.

Yesterday, TS Entertainment unveiled album jacket photos of Bang Yong Guk, Zelo and Youngjae. Today they have released to us the photos of Himchan, Jongup and Daehyun, following up with their “Pop Boy” concept, which means leaders in style and fashion.

In addition, B.A.P’s music video teaser for “No Mercy” will be revealed later tonight at 6PM KST and the full music video along with their album will be released on the 19th.

A Chinese group is being accused of copying group B1A4.

Korean netizens are targeting the Chinese group ‘决胜团’ for its similarities with B1A4, even posting a collection of side-by-side comparison photos of the two groups.

The collage shows remarkable similarities in not only the style, but also album jacket covers, homepage images and television appearances.

INFINITE announces their Japanese arena tour

INFINITE has announced that they’ll be going on an arena tour in Japan!

Through their official homepage on July 16th, the boys unveiled the list of tour dates for their arena tour, which begins this October in Yokohama. Following Yokohama on October 27th and 28th, the boys will be traveling to Nagoya on November 1st, Kobe on the 3rd and 4th, and finally Fukuoka on the 11th.

In total, they’ll be traveling through four cities for a total of six concerts, but considering their rising popularity both in Korea and Japan, fans can expect additional concert dates to be added.

INFINITE has experience selling out three concert dates September of last year in Japan in addition to their Korean and Japanese concerts this year.

The boys have a busy year coming up, as they’re also scheduled to hold their ‘That Summer‘ at the AX Hall next month. Tickets have already sold out for the upcoming concert series as well.

Gong Yoo Sets His Sights on Japan

Gong Yoo has a big month ahead in Japan. Just as his latest drama “Big” comes to an end in Korea, the romantic comedy, which tells the story of two people switching bodies, will begin airing in Japan from Aug. 3 via CSTV.

Then on the following day, Gong’s hit film “The Crucible” (2011) will open in cinemas there. Such a combined premiere is rare, and so Gong’s agents believe his popularity will soar in Japan.

Just in time for the two releases, Hallyu magazine Kanstyle dedicated the cover and 22 pages of its latest publication to the star.

The special feature on a single individual is a first for the magazine.

To celebrate Gong’s return to TV after a five-year hiatus, the magazine focused on what the 33-year-old star has been doing since “Coffee Prince” (2007).

“When we say Gong Yoo, people think of ‘Coffee Prince.’ It was loved in Japan but we expect his new drama ‘Big’ to surpass the fame of ‘Coffee Prince,’” said Kim Jin-hee, the editor at Kanstyle.
