Earlier today, TV Chosun’s “Entertainment in TV” announced that BIGBANG’s Seungri dropped out of Chung Ang University, where he was majoring in theater and acting studies.
According to a representative from Chung Ang University, “Seungri recently visited the campus and withdrew from school. Because of his BIGBANG activities, he could not attend his classes. And as a result, he’s been placed under academic probation several times. He probably made the decision because it was hard to focus on his entertainment and academic career at the same time.”
In 2009, Seungri and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri made headlines for being accepted to Chung Ang University, beating out some tough competition. Back in 2006, Seungri had also withdrawn from high school due to his activities with BIGBANG. However, he passed his GED (General Equivalency Diploma) in 2009, earning him his high school graduation status. Meanwhile, BIGBANG is dominating music charts in Korea and an impact throughout the world with their latest mini album “Alive.”
TV Chosun’s “Entertainment in TV” will air its segment regarding Seungri’s withdrawal from college tonight, March 9, at 9:50PM KST.

YG Entertainment officials confirmed, "Recently, Seungri withdrew from Chung Ang University. While Seungri still has a strong affection for his school, he had not been able to fully commit to his education because of various BIGBANG and overseas activities. Additionally, because of the upcoming world tour, we realized that Seungri would not be able to attend school. After careful consideration, he decided to leave." Officials added, "Seungri still has a thirst to learn and has enrolled at the Global Cyber University to attend classes online."

The issue was discussed in detail when South Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Ahn Ho-young held talks with his Japanese counterpart Kenichiro Sasae in Seoul earlier in the day, Seoul officials said.
During the talks, Ahn called on Japan to "take fundamental measures that are acceptable to the victims as the issue is one of the most important pending issues between the two nations," a senior ministry official said on the condition of anonymity.

Big Bang’s Seungri tells it all on Alive Big Bang, about the accidents and how the members came together.
On the SBS special ‘Big Bang Comeback Show – Alive Big Bang’, Seungri stated, “The truth is that last year until we promoted on the song ‘Tonight’, the 5 members of Big Bang did not get along well. I think ‘awkward’ would be a better explanation”.
Seungri continued, “All the members were hungry for individual promotions. We all felt we could do just as well going solo. Taeyang and I, we wanted solo albums. T.O.P wanted to do movies and dramas. G-Dragon had big dreams as a producer”.
Daesung‘s car accident and G-Dragon’s marijuana incident became the magnet that would bring them together again. Seungri added, “We came together thinking Big Bang couldn’t crumble like this. We encouraged each other to press on with renewed energy”.

Park Sun-young, a South Korean lawmaker who had been on hunger strike protesting such repatriations, told CNN she believes the North Koreans have been sent back. CNN cannot in dependently confirm the assertion.
Defectors who have made it to South Korea say anyone sent back faces a long term of imprisonment in a brutal labor camp or even execution.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, meeting with the South Korean foreign minister Thursday, said he shared Seoul's concerns about defectors and "stressed the importance of giving priority to the international standards and humanitarian considerations for the well-being of those persons."

Shinhwa's recent recording session of "Win Win" took over 10 hours.
On the 9th a representative from the production team told Star Today, "The recording for this special recording took twice as long in comparison to the normal recording, there were so many stories they talked about. Recording began at 3 PM and ended up at 1 AM. Normally, recording ends by 7 PM but Shinhwa's episode took a long time to record."
The representative continued, "Shinhwa members talked about their happy moments, as well as, sad feelings caused by misunderstandings. In particular, when they spoke about Andy, the members broke down in tears. In the past these misunderstandings caused a lot of pain. Even people who were watching became emotional".
Moreover, "Even with puffy eyes and many tears, they faithfully continued with the filming until it ended. The deep affection among the members could be felt within the friendly atmosphere. Please, look forward to "Shinhwa's episode"

A friend (half-Korean like myself) once asked about a new group called the “Young Others.” What an odd name! Many younger members are half-Korean, but still. Ouch.
My mom shook her head with scorn. “It’s the Young Adults group!” Oh. A mispronunciation by the pastor, not an exclusionary title.
I’ve often thought about that mythical group, the Young Others. My mom is Korean and my dad is Lithuanian, so I’m of mixed ethnicity. Many times I’ve checked that box on forms: Other.

He is seriously amazing in History Of The Salaryman. He has a great body too but I'm glad this photoshoot is not what ppl would expect considering we got some -not enough- half nude scenes time to time~~~Cute! Need to watch some of his other works and cant wait for his next project ^^
