Stellar runs into a costume controversy again

On February 8th, girl group Stellar released their single "UFO" with new members Hyoeun and Minhee, replacing members JoA and Lee Seul, who have returned as the ballad group Honey Dew.

Stellar has been engulfed in a costume controversy. Last year, girl group Girl's Day went through a similar controversy with their stage costumes for "Twinkle Twinkle," where their safety shorts were clearly seen under their short skirts, which netizens have called nicknamed it the "diaper fashion."

Prior to their 1st comeback stage on Mnet M! Countdown tonight, Stellar revealed their 2nd music video teaser for "U.F.O," which has caused a ruckus amongst netizens online.

Three of the Stellar members can be seen wearing skirts that flare out, giving them a school-girl, but sporty look.

During the teaser, Stellar performs a choreography in which their back is turned to the camera, swiveling their hip around. The camera clearly catches the white safety shorts of one of the members as this move was performed.

Netizens commented, "Are we openly showing panties now?" "This is just noise marketing," and "Why are you showing to young kids?"

In regards to this incident, Stellar's agency Top Class Entertainment said to Sports Seoul, "Underneath the skirt was a white colored underpants, not at all like underwear."

The official continues, "Stellar is scheduled for a comeback today wearing that costume, so the choreography will be changed accordingly."

A Pink‘s Yookyung is the daughter of a businessman that is worth 100 billion won or approximately $90 million USD.

Yookyung’s father, Hong Ha Jong, is the CEO of DSR Corporation, a company that specializes in steel wire, rope and sling products.

Her house was also recently revealed through a television program. The house showed off a luxurious high class interior design and large open spaces.

A Pink’s company A Cube Entertainment stated on the 9th to OSEN, “Hong Yookyung’s father does run a successful business. However, like all other artists, she went through the trainee process to become a singer. Beyond that, the company does not know much about her personal life details.”

IU reveals MV for ‘Last Fantasy’

Back in November, IU released her album, ‘Last Fantasy’. Along with this release, the MV for the title track “You & I” was also revealed. It took a while but now, the Music Video for the ninth track on the album, “Last Fantasy” has finally been unveiled.

This special video contains footage from IU’s Japanese debut showcase ‘IU JAPAN PREMIUM SPECIAL LIVE‘ held at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall back on January 24th. This is a special gift for her fans, as the video reveals not only footage from the showcase, but also include clips of IU touring the cities of Japan and her every day promotions and activities.

[에릭 Eric] During our trainee days in 1997 at a hostel in Bangbae-dong and practice studio, the first 3 fans who always followed us, kept calling us BST! One of them seems to be called Jeong Mi... (Is Jeong Mi-ssi around?) Back then the 3 of them were wearing their school uniforms. Now I wonder where are they now, how are they~

[혜성 Hye Sung] On March 24 was the first broadcast at KM show music bank. There was a lot of tension at the broadcast stage, there seemed to have like an eye mask covering our eyes, unable to see clearly... but although we put in a lot of hard work in the rehearsal but during the broadcast, we are still unable to show our best.

[혜성 Hye Sung] There are less than 10 fans sitting in the front row, but the fan cheers seems as if there were thousands of people, now that I recall... that first stage I haven't forgotten... I miss it ㅎㅎㅎ

FT Island reveals the real reason to why they decided to appear on ‘Immortal Song 2′

During a recent interview with online music portal ‘Monkey3‘, FT Island revealed the real reason to their appearance on ‘Immortal Song 2′.

When the members were asked whether or not it was their good looks that caused people to question their actual skills they replied, “People accused us of not actually playing our instruments just by looking at our hand motions on television. There were even rumors that the background music in our albums were not even performed by us. This is probably the main reason why we decided to be on ‘Immortal Song 2′. The rumors were really unsettling.”

They then stated, “We were very glad when we received positive feedback when we appeared on the show. Just by performing live infront of the crowds and showing them we did not fake any of our performances made the stage even more special and meaningful.”

G-Dragon and Daesung to appear on 'Healing Camp'

Group Big Bang members G-Dragon and Daesung have been confirmed to make guest appearances on SBS ‘Healing Camp’.

According to an insider at the network on the 10th, G-Dragon and Daesung have participated in the pre-recording of ‘Healing Camp’ in the YG Entertainment building on the 8th.

After the unfortunate accident and incident, the two stars had refrained from making public appearances and they had used the time to look back and introspect. They’ve come on ‘Healing Camp’ and cautiously talked about their experience since the incidents and as well as their current state of mind.

The insider at the network spoke, “The interview proceeded very quietly at the YG building near the hongdae area and the two stars started talking very cautiously. I believe it will draw huge attention not only because they haven’t been seen for so long, but because they’ll talk about everything on a nationally televised talk show”.

G-Dragon and Daesung’s episode of ‘Healing Camp’ is scheduled to be aired at the end of February.

Rookie group Tomboy Girls releases "Never Say Goodbye" single and MV teaser

Upcoming girl group Tomboy Girls, signed under Tomas Entertainment, have revealed a teaser for their debut music video, "Never Say Goodbye". The single was also released today.

Tomboy Girls are a five-member girl group, including former "Superstar K" contestant Han Gaeun, the group's main vocalist. Another member, Im Soohyun, appears in the music video teaser. "Never Say Goodbye" is described as a heart-wrenching ballad, and the somber, wintry teaser complements this mood. The group also received media attention after it was revealed that Yooyoung, a member of group "Jaja" which was popular in the 90s for songs such as "On The Bus", wrote the lyrics for and produced "Never Say Goodbye". However, information about the group is still lacking.
