Seohyun and Yoon Gun to collaborate for digital single "Don't say no"

Earlier, allkpop had reported about the rumors buzzing around Girls’ Generation Seohyun and Yoon Gun‘s possible collaboration.

As it turns out, those rumors were in fact true. It’s been confirmed that they’ve teamed up for a digital single entitled “Don’t say no“!

Singer-songwriter Yoon Gun personally composed this track, which is said to be a very mellow and relaxing piece. “Don’t say no” weaves together the tranquil sounds of a guitar, piano, and even a string quartet. The delicate composition is supported by lyrics that tell of a man who confesses to his love.

This particular duet song was produced as a warm gift to fans in light of the upcoming spring season.

“Don’t say no” will be released on February 13th!

Famous idol singer/actor is being framed by his ex-girlfriend to pay up or leak ~possibly~ sex video

A famous idol star whose identity has yet to be revealed has been rumored to have been blackmailed by his former girlfriend.

The female threatened to leak video footage of his naked body over the internet if he refused to hand over $890,000 USD. She claims to have clips of the two that they previously recorded during their dating relationship.

At the time, the idol star was filming multiple CFs and drama series, and seeing his soaring popularity, the female had used the videos to blackmail him. After being continuously threatened, the idol star finally decided to put in an investigation request, and the videos have since been confiscated by investigators.

Although the nature of the crime is rather unethical, taking into consideration that this is her first offense, it will be summarily indicted.

C-Jes official denies that it was Park Yoochun. The official says "Frankly, it is quite embarassing for Park Yoochun to be associated in this kind of news. He is not the male idol group member in the said scandal."

Park Yoochun's Representative: "The reported male idol who was threatened with naked pictures is not Park Yoochun".



There were reports about an idol who was being threatened by his ex-girlfriend to release nude pictures if he does not pay him a certain amount of money. The person in the middle of the scandal was assumed to be JYJ's Park Yoochun.

JYJ's officials said "Please check your resources, not because they are idols you can assume anything. Park Yoochun has no relation to this scandal whatsoever."

Furthermore, the official states "Frankly, this whole situation is embarrassing and ridiculous especially since the fans are worried, which makes the whole situation worrisome."

The criminal was charged with criminal offenses before the Seoul Prosecutor's office on the 9th. The said evidence was already confiscated by the Prosecutor's office.

Nevertheless, the news came as a surprise due to the internet, and Park Yoochun's name climbed on top as the main in the scandal, thus attracting the public's attention.

Big Bang makes 200 million won per day?

A report recently said that Big Bang is making 200 million won per day.

On February 9, LIG Investment & Securities Co. said that YG Entertainment is expected to earn 167 billion won in 2012, which is a 122.7 percent increase from last year, based on an "X-file about Entertainers from YG Entertainment."
According to the X-file, even though Big Bang only worked for half of last year, they earned 29 billion won. The group is planning to hold their concert in March, which will make 4 billion won. Big Bang will also be back performing on TV this year. They are expected to make 38 billion won by holding concert, 12 billion won by releasing their songs, and 5 billion won by shooting commercials. As a result, they are expected to make 78 billion won, which is doubled from last year.

This means that Big Bang is making 200 million won per day.

As you know, the nationwide tour started on January 18, and we really appreciate the many hearty messages and meaningful opinions about it we have been receiving through the questionnaire survey.

Also we are very pleased that we are receiving a lot of new applications and renewal applications for the official Fan Club "Bigeast" every day. Thank you so much.

In consideration of the above situation, we have decided to add one extra show for each of Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka in April. In total, they will have six Dome shows (three days each)!

We hope as many people as possible have a chance to see Tohoshinki's performance on this occasion.

jTBC responds to accusations of using Yoochun’s pictures

jTBC has issued an official statement in response to the accusations of using JYJ member Yoochun‘s photos.

During a phone interview that took place on February 10th with StarN, a jTBC representative remarked, “It is true that we have released a report regarding an idol star and naked photos, however, we did not make any mention of Park Yoochun.”

Ahead of this on the 9th, jTBC reported that the former girlfriend of an unnamed idol star was using naked photos to blackmail him for over $800,000 USD.

In the report, they had used blurred photos of Park Yoochun and netizens had found the original copies of the photos in comparison, thus drawing conclusions that the idol star was Yoochun.

However, jTBC stood their ground saying, “We did not violate any principles of news reporting. The photos were pixelated / blurred before being released, and we have never revealed the identity of the idol star in question. It was the third parties who speculated that the idol star was Park Yoochun, and therefore it has nothing to do with us.”

Meanwhile, JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment strongly denied the reports saying, “The idol star in question is not Park Yoochun. In the event that these rumors prove to be false and an invasion of privacy, we will immediately seek legal action through legal advisors.”

On February 8, 2012, T-ara member Hwayoung tweeted an adorable selca from Paris, France, reminding fans that Co-Ed School‘s male subunit group “SPEED” will be releasing their remake of T-ara’s Lovey Dovey called “Lovey Dovey Plus” on the 10th.

The T-ara member tweeted:

“Hwayoung is in Fraaaance right now~~!! Ah right!! The Lovey Dovey Plus MV will be revealed tomorrow~~~!! Try figuring out which one’s Hyoyoung and which one is me!! Eum… to give a hint, the one who’s a little prettier is Hyoyoung heuheu"

“Lovey Dovey Plus” and it’s music video is set to be revealed February 10th, with the MV to feature T-ara’s Hwayoung and her twin, Coed School‘s Hyoyoung.

This is Coed School’s first release for 2012 and will feature new member Jongkook, as well as the subunit “Speed“,  for the first time.

Meanwhile, Co-Ed School is set to make a comeback later this year.

Rumors that Kim Jong-un, the country’s supreme leader, has been assassinated just months after he took power originated on Chinese microblogging service Weibo and have now spread all over Twitter.

Others are reporting that Jong-un, believed to be 28 years old, may be on the run rather than dead, but both reports claim that some kind of coup is taking place.

One person on Weibo wrote (loose translation): "north korea's biggest leader kim jung un, this morning in beijing time 2:45 am, had his residence broken into and was assassinated by unidentified people, who were shot dead by his bodyguards in korea's embassy in beijing, vehicles are rapidly increasing in number, and have surpassed 30 of them, this sort of battle formation hasn't been seen in over two years. please verify this."

The U.S. intelligence community has found no evidence to suggest North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is dead, a senior U.S. official said Friday following posts on China's version of Twitter that claimed Kim had been assassinated while in Beijing.

U.S. intelligence officials have been looking into such rumors for more than a week, according to the official, who has direct knowledge of the latest U.S. analysis.

"With that society you can never be 100% sure, but we just don't see any evidence of it," the official told CNN. "It's a closed society, but at this point we do not believe it's true."

The preliminary analysis of the rumor suggests it is part of a "calculated effort to disrupt the economy of South Korea at a fragile time by suggesting things are going haywire up north," the official said.

Meanwhile, the official added, "there is no evidence of movement of North Korean forces or activity that you would associate with the turmoil of a calculated assassination."

Kim, who is believed to be in his late 20s, assumed the title of "supreme leader" after his father Kim Jong Il's death in December at the age of 69. Kim Jong Il had ruled the reclusive nation since 1994.

The official pointed out that even during the recent peaceful transition of power, there were signs of troops being put on a higher state of alert.

Neither Chinese state media nor South Korea's Yonhap news agency addressed the rumor in their reporting.
