TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Big Bang’s T.O.P, who have recently rose as the airport fashionistas of the Hallyu Wave, have become a hot issue for wearing similar outfits.

On his return to Korea on the 11th of October after the New York-Korea Festival, U-Know Yunho could be seen wearing mirror-style sunglasses, a black print t-shirt and black pants, finishing the stylish look off with a safari jacket.

Big Bang’s T.O.P, who was on his way to New York for a photoshoot, wore Boeing sunglasses, a white t-shirt, black pants and a khaki safari jacket, and gave the appearance of being U-know Yunho’s doppelganger as the two stars took on a similar casual and chic look.

The jacket both stars chose is a product from Calvin Klein Jeans and is part of a sporty and stylish set with a zip-up hoodie cardigan. The two components can be worn separately or together and are perfect for chilly autumn weather.

Netizens who saw the photos left comments such as, “They both look great”, “It’s hard to pick a winner”, “Their looks perfect the style”, and “How do they make such ordinary clothes look so stylish?”

‘3rd Generation Hallyu Idols’, Infinite, have set out towards their senior’s stronghold.
After showing their first showcase in July, they had great success with their solo concerts in Osaka and Yokohama with 10,000 people in the audience. It’s a rare amount of audience members for a group that hasn’t even officially debuted there. They’ve been continuing on their glowing path in Korea like the new generation of top singers should. After making the summer hot with their first official album’s title song, ‘Be Mine’, Infinite won the Mutizen award on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ with their repackage album’s title song, ‘Paradise’. These actions are definitely more eye-catching amongst other boy groups who debuted around the same time.

The symptoms are uncontrollable shrieks, intense heart palpitations, soaked palms, speaking — and squealing — in foreign tongues.

Now arriving in New York City: The South Korean phenomenon known as "hallyu," or "Korean Wave."

Already a craze in Asia, the wave has opened the floodgates of K-Pop in France, Brazil, Germany and Australia. Now it's about to take over New York.

Fans will pack a sold-out Madison Square Garden Sunday night for a concert presented by SM, one of South Korea's biggest record labels. The lineup: Girls' Generation, f(x), BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior and SHINee.

If you don't know the names, don't worry. Think of the show as a combination of the annual Jingle Ball extravaganza and a big helping of Seoul Train.
And if fans are pumped, so are the performers )

In South Korea, placards on trains offer short tales of love, loss and coping with everyday life for harried commuters

A Seoul subway rider looks up at a placard bearing one of the personal stories submitted by everyday commuters.

Reporting from Seoul— There's the grown son bridging the distance with his alcoholic father, an old woman's girlhood memories of working in her grandfather's dumpling restaurant, a student's search for an inspiring former teacher.

Like pages ripped from a diary, they're personal stories about love, loss and just coping with everyday life in this crowded and stressful society.

But these private thoughts are presented in a public place: The short tales, signed by their authors, are part of a new storytelling program on Seoul's Metropolitan Subway System. Posted above the exit doors inside trains, they provide emotional tonic — and perhaps a moment of escape — for some of the city's 6 million harried commuters.

Sunny's new hair has been catching the eyes of Sones lately but what’s all this talk about it? It's a wig!

On October 21st, SNSD made a comeback on KBS 2TV's Music Bank with their latest song, "The Boys". On the same day, they also performed "Mr. Taxi" for their special comeback stage.

Long before their comeback performance, however, Sunny's blonde 'do was one of the hottest topics in K-Pop, with fans and netizens alike praising the star for her dramatic look.

In an interview prior to SNSD's album release, Sunny stated, "The bob is really a wig. After receiving positive feedback from fans when the teaser was released, I felt good… Although I proposed that I would style myself, I haven't decided if I’m going to wear the wig on stage yet."

It was later revealed that both Sunny and SM Entertainment decided to stick with the wig, as fans seems interested in this new look.

Do you feel a bit disappointed that it's a wig, or relieved? Toss us your thoughts below!

Korean broadcaster MBC said it has agreed with Google to provide its TV drama and entertainment programs through YouTube, the world’s largest online video sharing site operated by Google.

MBC and Google Korea heads signed the agreement at a hotel in Seoul on Friday.

Under the agreement, MBC will provide 10,000 hours of dramas and entertainment shows aired before 2005 for YouTube, which will be distributed around the world starting next year, the broadcaster said.

It is the first time a Korean broadcaster is providing such massive content on YouTube, MBC said.

This week is a disappointment. Super loud backtrack and not enough nugu!

P.S. I don't what to make of Him Chan. He doesn't sound like a singer and he doesn't dance like a dancer. My guess he's a rapper or a visual.

On October 24th, it was revealed that 2PM and JYP Entertainment made donations to aid in Thailand’s flood reconstruction.
Representatives of the Korean National Red Cross confirmed, “On the 20th, 2PM and JYP Entertainment donated $130,000 USD to aid in the recovery and re-construction caused by the damage from the flood in Thailand.”
Starting at the end of July, Thailand has been met with severe floods that have damaged about 70% of the country. About 342 people have also been confirmed to be dead. Thailand is a country that’s special to 2PM because it’s also Nichkhun‘s hometown. The members tweeted several times in support of the nation’s recovery before deciding to move their words into actions by making a donation.
JYP Entertainment also previously donated about $300,000 USD earlier this year to aid in the Japanese relief efforts.
