T-ara's 2nd Japanese Concept 'YaYaYa' Revealed

T-ara's second Japanese concept has been revealed.

T-ara debuted in Japan with 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' featuring the members in cat concepts. For the second concept, T-ara will showcase a cute-Indian concept.

With their 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' release in Japan, T-ara became the first Korean girl group to debut on #1 in the Weekly Oricon Charts. For this reason, there are even higher expectations for 'YaYaYa'.

'YaYaYa' is expected to be released in Japan during late-November as T-ara will be juggling their promotional activities both in Korea and Japan at the same time.

Meanwhile, T-ara is working hard preparing for their Korean comeback that will happen in November. T-ara is currently working with Jo Youngsoo , Shinsadong Tiger, as well as the Brave Brothers for their new songs. Cha Seungwon will also be making an appearance in their new music video.

Over the past few days, two 6Theory Media (allkpop) executives (Johnny Noh& Daniel Lee) have been hinting on their respective Twitter accounts that something big involving their company is about to be revealed.

These hints have been re-tweeted by allkpop’s official Twitter account, and it has generated a significant amount interest among their readers, leading many fans to speculate wildly about what’s coming. allkpop has already denied early speculation among fans that the five girls in the pictures are 4minute or Girl’s Day, which only piqued reader curiosity further.

Much like every other time 6Theory Media executives have hinted at a big reveal (layouts/partnerships/etc), it points to significant news, and it doesn’t seem like this announcement will disappoint either.

Timbaland supports Wonder Girls on Twitter...may be a new Wonderful

With the Wonder Girls‘ official foray into the U.S. market just around the corner, it looks like the ladies have been gaining attention from American fans and celebrities alike!

On October 13th, producer and rapper Timbaland tweeted the Girls a message of approval for their hard work and upcoming debut. According to his message, Brian Byrd, who works in the American music industry, gave Timbaland a look at some of the quintet’s productions.



For those of you that aren’t familiar with this artist, Timbaland has released multiple chart-topping pop hits including “The Way I Are”, “Apologize” and “Carry Out”. He’s also worked with top artists like Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyonce, T-Pain and David Guetta.

With over 200,000 followers on his official Twitter account, Timbaland’s message has given the girls more exposure for their impending debut. The girls are working hard on their upcoming ‘Wonder Girls at the Apollo’ movie and preparing their album, so stay tuned to allkpop as we continue to follow their activities!

S. Korean homeless used in Vietnam marriage scam

A South Korean has been arrested for arranging sham marriages between homeless men and visa-seeking Vietnamese women, an immigration official said Friday.

The 40-year-old man was held Wednesday by a special immigration investigation team for arranging the fake marriages, an official at Seoul's immigration office said.

Three other alleged marriage brokers are being investigated by prosecutors.

The brokers contacted homeless men at Seoul railway stations and promised them a free trip to Vietnam and up to three million won ($2,535) if they agreed to the fake marriages, the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Vietnamese brides, who were seeking the right to live and work in South Korea, paid between $18,000-20,000.

U-KISS’s Soohyun talks Japanese promotions + updates on his vocal cord nodule

On October 14th, U-KISS‘s Soohyun attended the press conference for the ’2011 Asia Song Festival‘, where he revealed the plans for U-KISS’s Japanese promotions.


Soohyun said, ”We plan to officially begin Japanese promotions in January. We’ll aim to appeal with our friendly charms, and we hope that our Japanese fans will forward to it.”

He continued, “Truthfully, the fact that we are sharing the ‘Asia Song Festival’ stage with famous Japanese singers makes me nervous. We will show a good image as a representative artist of Korea.”

Soohyun also spoke about his condition after being diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule. ”I’m currently taking medicine diligently and I got an IV as well, so I am much better. I took a long break in order to participate in the ‘Asia Song Festival’. I will show a good image.”

U-KISS will be sharing the stage with Japan’s electropop trio Perfume and mixed dance group AAA. China’s Zhou Bichang, Taiwan’s Peter Ho, Thailand’s Tata Young, and other famous singers will be joining them for the event as well

The ’2011 Asia Song Festival will be opening on October 15th’ at the Daegu Stadium. Super Junior,SNSD, Lee Seung Gi, B2ST, G.NA, miss A, and U-KISS will be taking the stage as Korea’s representative artists.

Seyong of MYNAME releases concept photo

After revealing all members, the group's debut date as well as its first single release, "Message", on October 28th, H2 Media revealed a concept picture of the group's upcoming debut through the company's Twitter account.

The company revealed member Seyong's solo shot, which will be used as one of the Jacket pictures. Though only one member is shown, it gives fans a hint to the eventual debut concept and jacket picture of the new group.

MYNAME consists of 5 members and was originally known as Hwanhee Boys prior to their naming. Insoo, Seyong, Jun.Q, leader Gunwoo and maknae Chaejin, have ages ranging from being born in 1988 to 1995.

The rest of the member's concept pictures are set to be revealed next week.
