The first title song for Leessang’s upcoming 7th album “AsuRa BalBalTa” will be “Turned Off the TV…”, which was teased by multiple videos starring various Korean celebrities such as Simon D, Kim Jong Kook, and Jung Juri.

People had previously been confused as to what the promotional videos meant as they each featured a star alone in a room watching TV until he or she decides to turn it off. Now everything becomes more clear as the situation has to do with the actual song and its meaning.

The chorus of the song goes, “I love you so much that I turned off the TV,” expressing the harmony of a woman’s rational persuasion with a man’s instinctual nature through a sensual sound and a refined, slow tempo.

Instead of being macho and strong like Leessang’s previous works, it will be more closely related to sensitive emotions.

“Turned Off the TV…” will also feature the talented Yoon Mi Rae and the rising Indie band 10cm.

The MV will be produced by Leessang’s very own Gil and the album will drop on August 22nd.

In a strange turn of events, Han Ye Seul has expressed her intention to return to the cast of KBS drama “Myung Wol the Spy” today, just hours after landing in Los Angeles in an apparent move to withdraw from the show.

In a press release just moments ago, Han Ye Seul’s agency said, “We would like to apologize for coming to you with such shameful news. Both Han Ye Seul and her agency sidusHQ feels responsible for the whole controversy. Han Ye Seul has been extremely tired both mentally and physically with her busy filming schedule, and that has clouded her judgments at the time. We are sincerely sorry for causing extreme damage to so many people. We will do our best to have her return to Korea and resume filming as soon as possible, and we’ll make sure to do our best until the end of the show. Once again, we would like to express our sincere apologies to everyone involved in this issue.”

Multiple local reports have also confirmed Han Ye Seul’s return to Korea. The production crew of “Myung Wol the Spy” was quoted as saying, “On August 16th, Han Ye Seul has expressed her intention to return to Korea and rejoin the show. But the production team is undecided on whether they would accept her back at this point.” Also, an official close to the producers said, “Han Ye Seul, who arrived in LA earlier today, told her representative that she would return to Korea as soon as she buys the flight ticket.”

KBS, on the other hand, has not made any decisions regarding her comeback to the filming crew. Ko Young Tak, the head of KBS’s Drama Department, said at a press conference today, “Only if she (Han Ye Seul) returns in time and doesn’t delay of the production of episode 12 airing next Monday, we will discuss the matter with the production team and decide then.”

If Han Ye Seul does return to the cast, it seems likely “Myung Wol the Spy” will be able to resume airing soon. KBS had raised the possibility of replacing Han Ye Seul to another actress and it was inevitable to tweak the storyline a little bit. They also said they would take proper legal action to file a lawsuit against the star actress.

Earlier today, Han Ye Seul was spotted at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles where she told local media, “I gave up everything. The working environment was just too hard for me.” She said the poor working environment and differences between her and the production crew had caused the entire dispute and hinted at the possibility of even ending her celebrity career in Korea. Due to her sudden departure, “Myung Wol the Spy” was not able to air on Monday and instead showed a condensed highlight show titled “Myung Wol the Spy Special.”

Han Ye-seul's mother who lives in LA arrived in Korea to take care of matters regarding Han Ye-seul's refusal to shoot the drama and unnoticed absence. However, regardless, it seems Han Ye-seul has departed for the States.

According to the entertainment biz on the 16th, her mother arrived at Incheon International Airport in the morning. She is well known for her active participation in her daughter's career. It looks like the management has decided to hold hands with the management Sidus HQ to resolve things.

They have come to an agreement to negotiate terms and try to persuade Han Ye-seul. Word that the shoot will resume on the 17th seems to have something to do with this.

However, as news that Han Ye-seul has left the country got out, the matters seems to have gotten even more complicated. Her management said, "We don't understand why Han Ye-seul would depart if she knew her mother was coming. We only checked that her name was on the departure list but we are not sure she really left".

Her house is empty and there is no way of contacting her so there might be a possibility that she doesn't know her mother is here.

Han Ye-seul's mother and her management are going to talk about things this morning. Not only about the drama but if or not she has a boyfriend and if so, her plans for marriage and resuming her career as an actress.

Her management said, "We will talk to her mother and understand the circumstances then put out an official statement as soon as we can".

Kim Hui-jong, 86, of South Korea, has been trying to get Japan to remove his name from a list of that country's World War II dead: “I never fought for the Japanese; I was a forced laborer."

For most of his life, Kim Hui-jong has kept what he considers a shameful secret. In 1944, as a teenager, he was abducted from his village in northern Korea by Japanese soldiers and forced to dig tunnels at a World War II military camp on the island of Saipan.

Though the band still hasn't officially debuted, they've been keeping themselves busy with their "Smells Like Teen Spirit" tour, and every now and then making a music video of their own. While they did rock covers of Kpop songs such as 2NE1's "Can't Nobody" and miss A's "Good Girl Bad Girl", and had their own song on the soundtrack of "City Hunter", the band recently revealed yet another cover. This time, Yanghwajin took T-ara's "Roly Poly" and made their own version of the song, as well as an accompanying music video.

The 5 members are seen to be having fun while dancing and jumping around in their practice room, as well as acting out part of the original song's story while walking around in a city.

The band also revealed their official facebook page and official Daum Cafe earlier this year.

Cube Entertainment has just revealed to allkpop the tracklist and cover of G.NA’s second mini-album, “Top Girl“!
Her title track has been revealed to be “Top Girl“, which was produced by hitmakers Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho, two producers she’s been working with ever since her debut. The song is also special in that it features lyrics written by singer Wheesung.
With an addictive, powerful melody and a modern sound, the song lives up to its name by playing up G.NA’s confident and sexy ‘Top Girl’ image.
This album also aims to broaden the spectrum of her musical style, as it contains a song she personally helped write called “Banana“. Famous hip hop rapper Swings guest-featured in the song to support her comeback.
Other tracks include an emotional ballad titled “Without You” and an addictive hook song called “ICON“. Both songs are expected to showcase not only her growth, but her ability to pull off different styles.
With the album release set for August 23rd, G.NA is said to be busily spending her days preparing for her official comeback.

Mods, I'm guessing Cube sent Allkpop a message or something since there is no source on their site. Why is there food on the floor, it doesnt even look like it's been touched , G.Na why you hold bottle like that?

The production team of SBS’s ‘Star King‘ released an official apology for the controversy they caused over a depiction of Muslims during their August 13th broadcast.

On August 15th, the team wrote a letter titled “We are apologizing for our description about the Muslim culture“, which was uploaded onto the show’s official homepage.

The letter stated, “August 13th’s broadcast last week featured a segment called ‘18 year old girl from Saudi Arabia, Ruby’s dream’. While introducing the guest, some contents could’ve been viewed as if we were belittling Saudi Arabian religion and traditions. We apologize for our mistake.

The team also added, “We only wished to emphasize the guest’s desire for singing and did not have any intentions to belittle the Muslim culture. We will take extreme measures from now on so that we don’t bring about any further misunderstandings over our depictions and interpretations of different religions and cultures featured in our program.

August 13th’s broadcast of ‘Star King’ was swept up in a controversy after it aired footage of a man dressed as an Arab threatening MC Kang Ho Dong while holding a rifle. It was criticized widely among netizens for degrading the Muslim religion and culture.

The production team has meanwhile stopped the “replay service” for this particular episode for the time being so that the controversial contents can be edited out.

After leaving the set of KBS2’s “Spy Myung Wol” in crisis mode and flying to Los Angeles, actress Han Ye Seul will be returning on the 17th.

It has only been two days since she suddenly departed for the United States, but it’s been reported that she will be arriving at Incheon Airport in Korea on the 17th. Han Ye Seul has already reserved her return flight ticket.

A representative from Han Ye Seul’s side said, “In order to start shooting again for the drama, she must come back tomorrow.”

As the outcome was worse than she predicted, Han Ye Seul has hastened her return to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. The representative continued, “Han Ye Seul is very overwhelmed because she had no idea that the problem would grow this big in Korea.”

Her agency Sidus HQ had a press release saying, “Due to the busy filming schedule, Han Ye Seul’s mind and body got very tired. Seeing as how she had to act under those circumstances, her judgement was a bit cloudy and it has done detrimental harm to many people. She will return to Korea and back on the set as soon as possible. She will do her best to be present for filming until its full completion.”

After a few days of these surprising series of events, it appears that the drama “Spy Myung Wol” will finally be completed as Han Ye Seul returns to Korea to finish her remaining scenes as the main female lead.

I'm surprised the producers are letting her back on board... she obviously had some kind of mental breakdown and I think she should get help for that. If I was a producer, I would just feel like she wouldn't be reliable with the state that she is in... This whole situation has been handled so bizarrely.

The event was scheduled to start at 2PM but 15 minutes after said time staff said "Right now, the members are currently stopped at Haneda airport due to immigration procedures..." and so announced the start of the event would be postponed.

According to officials the members arrived at Haneda airport at about 11AM to attend the event. The members were supposed to be at the site at 12.30AM but due to trouble with immigration procedures they were stopped. The about 170 fans that had gathered for the event waited for roughly 4 hours for the members to arrive. At 6PM the organizers announced that there was no knowing when the members would be allowed to enter the country and that the event was cancelled. I feel so bad for the fans who were there because they lined up to get tickets for the event from like 8AM that morning. Also the fans at the airport weren't given any information at all and didn't know until last minute if they'd be let in or not.
