KARA’s Nicole, Seungyeon, and Jiyoung have officially reached a compromise with DSP Media today, finally putting an end to their months-long lawsuit.
On April 28th, a representative of the industry spoke through SPN and stated, “Under the arbitration of Tae Jin Ah, the lawyers of KARA’s three members and DSP Media have reached a final compromise.”
Tae Jin Ah said, “I have received signatures agreeing to a compromise from both parties; please congratulate this achievement. I would like to thank all of the fans that have worried over the situation.”
DSP Media announced, “All disputes between DSP Media and KARA’s three members have been resolved, and we have all reached a compromise where KARA will be able to continue promoting as five.”
They continued, “We discussed mainly about KARA’s future, and an agreement was reached where the three would drop their lawsuit without any conditions. We would like to thank our fans for supporting the girls without change, and promise to work hard to show improvement.”

TVXQ has been crowned as the artists with the most album sales for the first quarter of 2011!
On April 28th, Gaon Chart released the album sales figuresfrom January through March of 2011. Results showed that TVXQ placed first with over 200,000 in total sales. Gaon’s representatives stated, “The first quarter of 2011 met with the album releases of TVXQ and Big Bang, both of whom have been away from the industry for a long time.”
The rankings and the number of album copies sold are as follows:
1. TVXQ – “Keep Your Head Down” (236,669)
2. Big Bang – “Fourth Mini-album” (139,104)
3. TVXQ – “Keep Your Head Down, Repackaged” (51,354)

This five-member group is the front runner in powerful performances. The choreography for "Mirror, Mirror" was so sexy and powerful that the "spread legs dance" started to raise problems. After much teasing over the past few days, YG Entertainment has finally revealed the full details regarding Park Bom’s live performance of ‘Don’t Cry‘ on Friday through their YG-Life Blog.
“This will be a simple explanation on what “YG ON AIR” will be about. ”YG ON AIR” will consist of media content that YG Entertainment directly produces. It’s something that we’ve planned for a long time now, as we’ve always wanted to break away from the frames of broadcast programs and create fun content based on our own ideas.
The point about “YG ON AIR” is that there are no restrictions. For example, we will be broadcasting Park Bom’s first live performance at 6:05 PM. Big Bang and 2NE1 will not be keeping formality, and it will just be a comfortable live broadcast for our artists and their fans to communicate together. This will also be the fastest way for us to deliver our music video and concert making films.
We’ll be working with Korea’s biggest portal site, Naver. In the future, we’ll be co-producing season three of “2nE1 TV“, as well as stages exclusive to “YG ON AIR.”
We will also be providing subtitles through YG LIFE and YOUTUBE so that our international fans can enjoy our content with us. Because this will be done in pirate broadcast fashion, it’s difficult for us to promise a specific broadcast date. For now, we can promise a “Don’t Cry” version sung by 2NE1 next Friday.
We will be reflecting the ideas of our fans, so we ask for your support and anticipation.”

Shin Dong Yup and Super Junior’s Leeteuk have both been chosen as the new double MCs for tvN’s new entertainment program, “50 Million Great Questions“!
The new variety show holds a survey asking various questions on the images of stars with 10,000 Koreans to represent the 50 million people of Korea. Included in the show is a panelist of professionals that aid the stars in figuring out an image they had with the public that even they didn’t know.
Known for their quick reactions and friendliness, the two MCs will be heading this interesting new show. Leeteuk stated, “I’m glad to be able to work as a double MC with senior Shin Dong Yup, whom I’ve always admired. I’ll be working as comfortably as possible with all of the guests on the show.”
PD Cho Sung Bum stated, “The combination of Shin Dong Yup and Leeteuk will be explosive. They’re known for being close, so we’re all anticipating how they’ll be working together.”
The show’s pilot episode will air on May 6th at 12 AM KST.
Super Junior's Yesung, Heechul and Shindong are guests on the first episode.

Brave Girls‘ Eunyoung showed off abs that are usually hard to find on a girl.

After School fans have received sad news as it has been revealed that Bekah won’t be able to perform with the team.
After School is set to make their comeback on April 29th on KBS's Music Bank with "Let’s Step Up" and "Shampoo". They will then follow up with comebacks on MBC's Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo. This will be the group’s first comeback with all members, including the latest addition, E Young, since the release of "Bang!" one year ago.
Back in December, seven of the members promoted the winter single "Love Love Love," but Bekah wasn’t included as she was back home in Hawaii. As a result, the return of the full group with their new single, "Shampoo," has received a lot of attention from not only After School fans but K-pop fans in general.
Sadly, just one day before their first stage, it was revealed through Twitter that Bekah injured herself while preparing for the group’s comeback and wouldn’t be able to perform, at least during the comeback stages.
Let’s hope for Bekah to have a speedy recovery and be able to join After School on stage soon.

After releasing two image teasers from Lim Jeonghee’s new mini album, “Golden Lady”, Big Hit Entertainment has revealed two more images. This time, the images are from from her title track’s music video, unveiling its two protagonists, G.NA and comedian-actor Park Hwisoon.
The first teaser, found on Lim Jeonghee's official site, shows G.NA wearing a black dress and looking beautiful as she finishes her make-up in front of a mirror in a white room. The second image presents Park Hwisoon who seems to have had an accident.

BEAST's Lee Kikwang, Secret's Jeon Hyoseun, and MBLAQ's Lee Joon had given rise to the chance of a love triangle relationship during recording.
On the episode of KBS2TV school variety 100 Points Out of 100 broadcasted on the 23rd, from Lee Joon's joke, Lee Kikwang, Jeon Hyosung, and Lee Joon were swept in the triangle love possibility.
While recording for the show, when the MCs asked “Have you been asked out by a fellow star, Lee Joon replied back, "There was one female idol that came up to me and told me that they enjoyed a program that I was on. That was Jeon Hyosung."
From Lee Joon's sudden statement, the stars on the show asked Hyosung if she was actually dating Lee Joon and Hyosung had strongly declined the matter by waving her hands.
Then, Lee Kikwang, who had revealed that Jeon Hyosung was his ideal type on 100 Points Out of 100 before, suddenly got up from his chair and called our her name and Jeon Hyosung said back to Kikwang right after, "No it isn't like that Kikwang!" raising questions from the stars on the show.
The stars who saw Hyosung trying to make up an excuse for herself joked around saying that the three of them were actually in a relationship. Lee Kikwang, who was very surprised said back, "We don't even have each other's numbers."
