JYJ Junsu’s Twin Brother Junho, Debuts in Japan in August with Avex



Group JYJ’s Xiah Junsu’s twin brother, Junho (24) will debut in Japan in August.

On the 27th, Japanese media revealed: “Junho will release his Japanese debut single on August 3rd and will begin in earnest in music activities. He will charm the fans with dance music which highlights his tall height of 188 cm and muscular body.”

They added: “Junho contracted with Avex in order to do his activities in Japan, and already he has many regular fans in Japan also.”

Junho relayed through the Japanese media his impressions: “I feel very happy that the opportunities to meet Japanese fans will increase. First, in order to get into the top 10 of Oricon I want to continually work hard, step by step.”

Junho is well-known as the twin brother of Xiah Junsu and has paid the penalty of popularity even before his debut due to his height of 188cm, firm and muscular body, and soft looks. He has been active as a CF model since around 2008 in Korea, and last year in March he debuted as a singer in China and is enjoying popularity that does not fall behind that of his.

Junho Tweets about Contracting with Avex



Finally articles about my Japanese company have surfaced. I believe that there are those who worry and those who say non-good things. There had been talk (about contracting with Avex) before there were problems with the kids (JYJ) and after the incidents (Avex suspending JYJ) happened, for the duration called 7 months I talked to the family and those around me about whether I should do it or not (contract with Avex or not) and it is a decision that I came to after serious consideration/worrying.

Because I have settled the affairs to minimize problems please do not worry too much. This is a decision that I, too, have come to after a very long time of worry. You may think that this is the wrong decision but I’ve already decided and I must take responsibility. I wish you won’t hurt my family. I will just do my best. I am sorry and thank you.

i guess fans alr gave him shit about it, but sigh.. i can really understand where he's coming from. avex is big and influential, it'll be good for his career to debut under them.

i'm not too informed abt jyj's issue with avex but it was about them milking them for money right? since it's not like they're going to be able to get much out from junho (as compared to JYJ) then i guess it's not really too bad?

he's getting so much backlash from fans about being related to junsu, (well not specifically for being relatedto junsu but you get what i mean, its like the news regarding him will end up involving junsu in some way or another esp from overprotective js fans) maybe it would've been better if he'd distanced his career from js from the beginning. blah, leave the flawless twins alone. ;__;

This is actually one of the main reasons Junho debuted in China first and thus far refused to stand on the same stage as Junsu unless he appears for support at one of his showcases. He doesn't want people thinking he's using Junsu's fame to boost himself up, even though tons of us are dyingggggggggg for a Kim Twins single. ;-;

I think it is not smart move from him, because that way he loses support of Junsu and JYJ's fans, and as far he attracted interest only as Junsu's brother..

don't think Avex will put much effort in his promotion either, so I really do not understand this move..

Some of this post is exactly why he debuted in China first and I WAS UNABLE TO VIEW HIS PROMOTIONS.

He's related to Junsu, he's a Kim Twin, but his name is KIM JUNHO. Can, want, will have together (FC Men matches) and separate from Junsu. How many times in random DBSK trivia have the members said the person who Junsu talks to more than a girlfriend, more than two times a day, is Junho? They have full fledged bromance conversations on twitter, pretty sure Junsu and JYJ put their two cents in and gave their blessing.

We can be confused all we want, but as long as Junho's treated right (God help Avex if he isn't), I'm okay.

Do I think its awkward? Absolutely,especially since Max always decides to go at JYJ through Twitter whenever he's PMSing, however he is a an adult who has his own career to establish and he has to do what he has to do.
