Brothers groups’ 2PM and 2AM will have their first joint stage since their debut.

On KBS Music Bank on 12th February, the 2 groups will be putting up a special joint stage.

Members of the 2 groups have been known to be close with one another since their training days, and are even given the nick name of ‘brothers groups’ and ‘one day’. The 2 groups have achieved great successes and popularity since their debut, and great anticipation is for their 1st ever joint stage.

The 2 groups will be performing G.O.D ’s ‘The place where you should be’ and the acapella version of ‘Again & Again’.

Remember to tune in at 6.30pm for KBS Music Bank!

‘Adam Couple’ Jo Kwon and GaIn from MBC variety show ‘We Got Married’ MBC is known to have donated 50 million KRW to earthquake victims in Haiti.

The 2 has been known to have donated that amount to MBC ‘Haiti Refugee Fundraising’ on 11th February.

A representative of 2AM revealed, “Jo Kwon and Gain donated the sum of 50 million KRW from the sales of their duet song ‘We Fell In Love’ to the refugees in Haiti. They wanted to use the money earned from all the love from fans to help those in need.”

Meanwhile, the duet song by the 2 had received overwhelming response that it had gone up to the #1 spot on KBS Music Bank K Chart even though there were no promotions for it.

In an upcoming episode of SBS's 'Star Junior Show Boong Uh PPang: Korean New Years Special, Brothers & Sisters Kook Hwa PPang! Kan Mi Youn's brother Kan Young Wook surprised the audience when he admitted that he used to have strong romantic feelings for Yoon Eun Hye.

In this recording, Kan Young Wook praised his sister by saying that Kan Mi Youn made his life alot easier by visiting him at the military training during the peak of the Baby V.O.X popularity. (He was better treated by others & higher ranked serviceman after her visit) Then he went on to express his sadness by stating, Yoon Eun Hye would visit my house often and we would even go & sing together at Norae Bang (Karaoke) back then.

Dongho graduated from Seoul Yonggang Middle School on February 10th. His graduation picture was revealed recently where he was spotted with a black hair and wearing a plain clothes. His busy schedules were the reason of why he couldn’t take a proper graduation picture. He was spotted wearing a striped sweatshirt. T-ara to help in a fundraising event for Haitian refugees



T-ara was recently in the news for donating a large amount of money from their earnings to help the Haitians who were affected by the earthquake. The money was used to buy various relief goods for the victims.

After donating money, T-ara still wants to help more. Aside from being one of the only groups to donate, now theyll be helping in a fundraising event that will be held in the Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul. They will be there along with other artists like SG Wannabe and many more. The said event will be hoping to gather a larger amount of money from stars. Producers from big companies will also be attending the event.

This event will be held before the release of their repackaged album.

The faces of the Epik High’s juniors Infinite who are also from the same company have been revealed.

Epik High’s company Woorim Entertainment is set to debut a 7-member boyband Infinite, and a photo of the group has been revealed.

Tablo revealed on his Twitter that the photo was taken during their cheering UCC video for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic, also bring up the anticipation for the UCC video.

To Shim Changmin:

You always wish to have a modest appearance. Although it can be said to be a postive aspect of you, but on the other hand, there are times when you show a complete opposite side, so there are often times when you worry about yourself... but recently, I've started to have the mindset of appreciating myself and to be proud of myself, so it can be considered a really lucky thing.

Although in the past, it was exactly as what everyone said: I used to live while looking inward and constantly stressing out, making it harder for myself... but in future, I want to have more faith in myself and live my life like that... Didn't I have the misguided thinking that I was born without a choice on who my parents would be? So, work harder!

Even though I said before: The old me faced many different choices, but the present and future me, will still have many choices that I have to face. In future, no matter what I encounter, no matter who I have to stand before, I want to do the right thing and make the correct choice like I have done so far. Also, as long as I can become a person who stands firm with the right choices I make, that would be good. Of course, I might feel tired because of these choices and I might encounter many difficult things... but if that is the price I have to pay in making the right choice, even if I have to accept punishment, I will break through all these difficulties and ultimately receive wisdom and knowledge.

On the February 12th episode of KBS' "Invincible Youth" an indesirable trait of T-ara's Hyomin was revealed.

During a moment of talking, the girls of G7 revealed that Hyomin has a habit to fart without telling anyone or with the intentions of hiding it. One night during filming, the girls noticed a foul stench of air. They were checking the girls and they found out it was Hyomin who farted.

To rescue herself from shame, Hyomin defenses with her statement "Well, you can smell it, but you didnt hear it."

On the internet people were fighting about whether ‘It’s been plagiarised’ vs. ‘It hasn’t’; the company said they’d fly over to America to set things straight. It seemed like there was going to be a huge legal battle. Everything was just so hard to handle. It makes me happy to sing and dance in front of other people, that’s all..but the people seemed to only pay attention to the bad stuff, I thought I was gonna go crazy. But after contemplating for a while, I decided that singers should answer to any controversies through their performances.”

2NE1 is up all-kill on music charts in just 3 days

The 2NE1 fever is going strong in Kpop world. It is no longer the case of surprise event from a newcomer singer. Their new song is an all-kill on music charts in just 3 days into its release. 2NE1’s golden age is said to be approaching.

The group got into the Kpop scene like a comet and achieve success with their 1st album. This was because it was the period when WonderGirls had left the Kpop scene for their American debut and So Nyeo Shi Dae ending their ‘Gee’ promotions.

But this time, the situation is different. So Nyeo Shi Dae has been in the spotlight since the release of their new song ‘Oh!’. 2NE1 previously revealed their digital hiphop single ‘Try To Be Like Me’ on 9th February.

The song was released as a prelude and promotion to the girls’ upcoming 2nd album.

The song is already leading So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Oh!’, which it was first revealed on 25th January. Looking at the music charts results on 11th February, the song is up at #1 on all charts except for one or two charts where it is competing for #1,2 positions.

The 2NE1 members have been doing their solo activities since their 1st album promotions ended, many are seeing that their comeback will change the landscape for the girlgroups in Kpop.

Outsider, releasing his 2.5th album "Marginal Man" in early March

Speedy rapper Outsider (27, real name Shin Ok Chul) will release his 2.5th album, 'Marginal Man', at the beginning of next month.

Outsider's company, Sniper Sound released the news on the new album on the 8th, saying that "in the lyrics of the title song 'Marginal Man' (also the title of the album) Outsider put the feelings of a human who lives a meaningless, boring life, not belonging anywhere" and that "because of the dreamy melodies and string instruments, the song sounds very determined and grand".

The new album will consist of 4 new songs and 3 instrumentals, adding up to 7 songs in total.

Sniper Sound also added, "Outsider wrote what he wanted to say in a short essay and compiled it with the album. You'll get a feeling of reading a short book"

With the release of his new album in March, Outsider will be holding a concert in April.

Three hundred fangirls gathered at the Hong Kong International Airport to welcome their favorite pretty boys from Korea. Fans of SHINee have been waiting since early morning with banners and signs in anticipation of the group’s arrival. Unfortunately, in addition to their flight being delayed for half an hour, it took another 90 minutes before SHINee would appear. It turned out they were getting their hair and make up done in the restricted area so fans could see them at their best.

Korean Billboard Charts to Launch This Month

A Korean version of the U.S. Billboard charts will be unveiled later this month.

The Korea Music Content Industry Association announced on last week's Thursday that it will launch the “Gaon Chart” on February 23rd.

The chart will tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs or albums in the nation. “Gaon” is a Korean word that means “middle.”

Six online music services, including Melon, will take part in tabulating online sales of music, while leading record distribution companies, including Sony Music and Mnet Media, will participate in calculating overall album sales.
