YG Family helping out disabled children with WITH Campaign

YG Family groups, 2ne1 and Big Bang, have released a promotional clip in support of the WITH campaign.

The WITH campaign raises money for various charitable activities including helping disabled children. A portion of the proceeds made from YG products go towards the foundation. Fans can help out too by going to the WITH campaign homepage and purchasing items as well as donating.

The promotional video clip has the ladies from 2ne1 and the men from Big Bang grooving out to "All You Need is Love." It's good to see this company giving back and helping out the community.

T-ara's Title Track is 'Like the Beginning'

It has been decided that T-ara's title track for their first studio album will be 'Like the Beginning'. However, it is still expected the 'Bo Peep, Bo Peep' will be broadcasted as well in the future.

Last month on the 27th, T-ara released their first solo album Absolute First Album and let their fans choose its title track. The results came in on December 2nd. 9,000 people took the survey on music websites like MNet, Melon, and Cyworld and 'Like the Beginning' won with 53% of the population's votes (4,770 people in total).

SNSD Sells 200,000 Albums In 2009

SNSD, the nine member girl group has broke through the 200,000 mark for total sales in 2009.

According to the music sales site Hanteo.com, SNSD has sold 201,386 copies of their total five albums in the period of January 1st to November 30th of 2009.

The second mini album 'Tell Me Your Wish' has sold approximately 85,000 copies,the first mini album 'Gee' has sold approximately 81,500 copies, their first album 'Girls' Generation' sold 13,500 copies, their 'Baby Baby' repackage has sold 12,000 copies and their 2007 summer hit debut single 'Into The New World' has sold 9,500; totalling to 200,000 copies of their albums sold in 2009.

SNSD took 2nd place for most albums sold in 2009. First place went to none other than the 43 album released, 1992 debuted Seo TaeJi. He sold 226,924 albums this year.

2NE1 took first place for most sales of one album in the female artist category. According to Hanteo they sold 88,970 copies of 'I Don't Care' until late November this year. Big Bang's leader G-Dragon took first place for most sales of one album with 127,186 copies of 'Heartbreaker.'

Watch out for new girlgroup Nia, hailed as the ‘2nd Brown Eyed Girls’

Hip hop producer singer MC HanSai (MC한새) reveals upcoming female group Nia, who are also called the ‘2nd Brown Eyed Girls’.

MC HanSai’s agency BCR Media said on the 2nd, “MC HanSai is the main producer for Nia’s new single album.”

The group gained much attention in the indie scene earlier this year in April when they released their single ‘My Everything’ and was promoting in the HongDae region. They were also called the ‘2nd Brown Eyed Girls‘.

New Boy Group Releases Christmas Teaser Song

The newest boy group to hit the scene, Le QUATTRO, have came together for the Winter season to release a Christmas teaser song to gather initial anticipation for their official debut, coming up next February.

Le QUATTRO (which means The Four in Italian) is K Family's newest quartet boy group consisting of leader RaF, rapper Kyul Shil, vocalist/pianist Jong Kyong and maknae Koo Sung Dwen and, although their debut is not until February of 2010, they have released a Christmas song, "Hello, Merry Christmas" due as a teaser for what is to come.

"Hello, Merry Christmas" is described as a mid-tempo pop song with soothing verses that's great for the upcoming Winter season. All of the four members come together to sing in "quartet caroling" during the chorus, making the song very fun and addicting to all ages.

Goo Hye Sun Showers Love to Children

It was reported that on the day when Goo Hye Sun visited the hospital, it was raining heavily. Although there were many difficulties, it does not stop YG staff and her in coming to the hospital and participating in their volunteer activities. Each volunteer was matched to a child in helping them during their treatment. Like other volunteers, Goo Hye Sun was also assigned to a child and did her best in her volunteer activities.

Goo Hye Sun shown bright smiles to each action of the child and her expression looked so happy (picture as above). And thanks to Goo Hye Sun for being together here, all of us have a happy time.

When the child was having fear and bursting into tears while taking the medical check-up, Goo Hye Sun also shared the worries together and her heart felt hurt too.

Netizens give comforting words to comedian Jo Hye Ryun

On this weeks Strong Heart, Jo Hye Ryun talked about her father and his influence in her life. He never worked and to her, he was an embarrassment.

Throughout her life, she was ashamed of the man who never worked and was always apologetic. She was bothered by him always saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

Once, while she was in school, her father came by as she was about to leave campus. He called out her name in his ragged jacket and pants he always wore. In his pockets were his dentures because they were uncomfortable to wear. Her friends that she was walking with told her someones calling out her name and she noticed it was her father. However, she felt too embarrassed to do anything about it. After he called her again, she went up to him and he gave her 300 Won (about 25 cents) to her so she can eat spicy rice cakes (dduk boki). She didn't like him appearing while she was with friends.

As she tried to become a comedian, she failed a few times and her dad asked if she didn't make it because she didn't have any backings. "Should I save up some money to go and try to bribe the producers?" Jo Hye Ryun corrected her father saying that "it's not like that." He replied with "Hye Ryun ah, I'm sorry."

As she became popular, she said that she looked down on her father when he suggested he become an extra for a Korean drama. She didn't want him to go up to her coworkers and embarrass her, so she brushed it off and he replied with "I'm sorry."

A few years ago, he became ill and lost much weight. Due to her busy schedule, she rarely got the chance to visit him in the hospital. One day, she got a call from her mom saying that her dad was in critical condition so Hye Ryun rushed to the hospital. He was waiting for her and when she told him that she came, he smiled. Jo Hye Ryun then said that she loved him and apologized for not understanding his intentions. He then told her "I'm sorry" and passed away.

She then realized how her father lived his life feeling sorry. Even though he was only given kimchi and rice to eat most of the time due to her mom being busy, he never complained.

The story brought rest of the guests on Strong Heart to break out into tears as it made them think about their parents as well.

JYP (Park Jin Young) recently made a comeback with his mini-album titled Sad Freedom. This past weekend, JYP released the MV for the mini-album's title track No Love No More and earlier today he performed this song live for the first time at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

JYP also performed his old classic from the mid-90's titled 날 떠나지마 (Don't Leave Me) / Honey. During the performance, JYP went out to the crowd and interacted with the actors and actresses. SS501 Heo YeongSaeng reveals that he has “lost” Dong Bang Shin Ki member Hero JaeJoong to leader member Kim HyunJoong.

He said during his appearance on MBC Golden Fishery Radio Star on 2nd December, “I introduced Hero JaeJoong to Kim HyunJoong, but after that he was more close to JaeJoong than me.”
During the show Yoon JongShin has talked about rumours of idols, “There was talk that HyunJoong “robbed” Hero JaeJoong from you, the 2 of you were close before.” and YeongSaeng said, “We were close when we were SM trainees.”

Park Jin Young reveals, “2AM and JOO will come back with new albums early next year”

Group 2AM and singer JOO will have their comeback early next year.

Singer producer Park JinYoung wrote on JYP Entertainment’s official homepage on 2nd December talking about his own singer comeback as well as this piece of news.
He revealed that he is working on 2AM and JOO’s album currently. He said, “Early next year, 2AM and JOO whom everyone is waiting for will release their albums.”

He added, “Previously many thought that 2AM’s music style was a little monotonous, I’m working on this with the other producers currently and I hope that everyone will be a little more patient about their album. It will be a really satisfactory album since there are composers who are better than me working on the album.”

MBLAQ to Debut in Japan

Korean idol group MBLAQ is gearing up for their debut in Japan, according to their agency on Wednesday.

The group will be performing as guests at their producer Rain's fan meeting, which will be held at Tokyo's International Forum on December 6, J. Tune Entertainment announced in a press release.

At the event, celebrating the opening of Rain's official Japanese website, the five-member boy band will be performing several songs from their debut album "Just BLAQ", including a Japanese version of their debut single "Oh Yeah".

The cold reality of television viewership ratings was harsh enough to cut short the show starring attractive actors Alex O'Loughlin and Daniel Henney. With critics calling the show dull and viewers not tuning in to watch, CBS finally announced last weekend that it was cancelling the show "Three Rivers". According to an overseas media outlet, a source claimed that the show has been put on halt, but with no clear prospects as to whether it will air again in the future. CBS's announcement virtually means a cancellation of the show.

Park Eun-hye to make comeback on TV

Korean actress Park Eun-hye is set to make a comeback to the small screen in a new morning drama, according to her agency on Thursday.

Returning to television after a two-year hiatus, the actress will be play the lead role in MBC's morning soap "Pink Lipstick", Forestar Entertainment said in a press release.

She will play the character of Yoo Ga-eun, who plots revenge after getting betrayed by her husband and friend.
