For Chuseok special, KBS had a dance sports performances program ‘Shall We Dance’ aired on 2nd October, with singers Baek Ji Young and Lee Seung Gi as the MCs to the show.

On the show, we have idol group members like SHINee MinHo, SNSD SooYoung, KARA SeungYeon and Jewelry Seo In Young doing all genres of dance from quick step to samba to Paso Doble.

TVXQ Yunho says the 5 of us will never part at Shanghai Concert

Earlier today, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki got together on stage to hold a concert at the Hongkou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai, China. Despite the turmoil, rumors of breakup, and lawsuit with SM Entertainment, the boys got together and put on a great show for the more than 30,000 fans in attendance.

According to fan accounts, TVXQ's leader Yunho said: "The five of us will never part!" Even though the concert was held in China, this lead the crowd to chant "믿어요! 동방신기 사랑해" which translates to "Believe! We Love Dong Bang Shin Ki." Jaejoong, and Micky were both seen crying around this time as well. There's also reports that all 5 cried together at the end.

The 2 spent their first night together in their new home in KyeongBok area, for this couple who are stars always busy on their schedule to attend shows and events, the show has prepared for them a “new concept movable home”.

Narsha, "There have been more than 5 male celebrities asking me out"

It was previously posted that Narsha revealed that she had been approached and asked out by no less than FIVE male celebrities. but....

Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha has actually had more than five male celebrities asking her out.

On the MBC Chuseok variety special "Sweet Girl" that aired October 2, Narsha said that there were "many guys who bothered her" and revealed her increasing popularity with the men.

"There are many men who ask me out lately. I had previously revealed that it was just five men, but I didn't reveal that there have actually been more," revealed Narsha. "There haven't been just singers, but actors too," which made the other 26 girl group members jealous.

On another note, Kara's Park Gyuri revealed, "I've been asked out through a Cyworld minihompy message." When it was made known that this man was a singer, MC Noh Hong Chul asked if he was in a group or was a solo singer. Gyuri replied that "He is a solo artist who used to be in a group," which raised many questions as to who this man could be.

What will new group f(x) do for their first Chuseok ‘Operation: Make Songpyeon with SM Staff”

Hot topic new group f(x) will be making Songpyeon(Korean rice cake made from sticky rice) together with their agency family.

f(x) was promised that they would make songpyeon together with the SM Entertainment staff for the upcoming Chuseok holidays. Since Amber and Victoria’s families respectively, live in America and China, they have no choice but to stay in Korea because the holiday is only 3 days. So, it was decided that they have a great time together with the other members and the agency’s staff. An agency representative said, “We plan on making songpeyon together with the f(x) members on Chuseok.” Also, “We wanted Amber and Victoria to personally experience Chuseok in Korea, as it is their first Chuseok since their debut.”

Of course, f(x) will be participating in a broadcast program during the Chuseok holidays. They will have their first overseas performance, on the 6th, in Qingdao, Chinao, for the ‘2009 Korea-China Song Festival’ and the group has been pushing on with their practices for this opportunity.

The leader Victoria recalled some memories about Chuseok, “When I came to Korea I ate Songpyeon(Korean rice cake made from sticky rice) for one of the Chuseok foods for the first time, and it was very delicious. I really look forward to eating Songpyeon again for the Chuseok.”

In addition, f(x) said their Chuseok greetings and revealed their ambitions, “We hope that everyone has a fun and happy holidays for the Chuseok. As this is our first Chuseok together, since our debut, we want to eat delicious foods, make wishes to the full moon, and have a special time together with the members.” Also “In the future we will work harder to become a passionate and diverse f(x).

Jo In Sung happily serving the country

October 1st is Korea's Soldier's Day and the actors like Jo In-Seong, Lee Jeong-hee, Ko Jang-hwan, and Cheon Jeong-myeong are performing a celebration stage!

The celebrities serving the country are going to have a special corner "Celebration with the Citizens" for this event.

It will be the first for the actors to be on any public event while in military service!

They will be singing various songs and giving a lot of entertainment for the audience.

Bae Yong-joon cuts Japan trip short due to illness

Top South Korean actor Bae Yong-joon has cut short a promotional tour in Japan and returned home because of illness, his agency said Saturday, according to Yonhap News.

Bae's agency, BOF, said the actor returned to South Korea on Friday under stress from continued big schedules and events. He was not, however, in serious condition, BOF said.

The Korean actor traveled to Japan Sept. 27 to promote his photo essay book "Travel in Search of Korea's Beauty," which covers broad areas of culture, including cuisine, handicrafts, temples and dress-making. He was initially scheduled to return home Monday.

Late last month, Bae was admitted to a hospital after his blood pressure and blood sugar levels fell sharply. Test results showed he was suffering from the early stages of blood deterioration, but was not in critical condition.

Bae stated last month at a press conference that he lost nearly 10kg during the final days of writing the book from pressure to make his work as flawless as he could.

The Queen Is Back with MC Mong

Who's the queen? Of course, it is the Queen of Diva, IVY!

Her comeback to the entertainment industry was announced quite a while ago, and her battle against Lee Hyori was predicted among the fans. The battle is yet to start, but IVY couldn't wait to present to the audience.

IVY took her first step to her comeback by participated in MC Mong's new album, Humanimal Repackage, even if her own album hasn't been out yet. She successfully featured the song "I Am....", written by MayBee, The lyrics contain a heartfelt story about a couple facing the reality of their breakup.

MC Mong's agency stated "After receiving the demo CD, we tried to come up with a female vocalist who can feature this song perfectly. We believed it was an ideal song for IVY, and there was no doubt about it. We decided no other female artists can digest this song as well as IVY, and we weren't hesitant to ask her. After listening to the song, she favored it personally and managed to participate despite her busy schedule due to her new upcoming album. Her matured singing especially stood out in this song, and it will touch millions of our fans." In my opinion, among the countless female vocalists that have worked with MC Mong, IVY was the best to bring out her style of music while featuring.

IVY and MC Mong worked together as a duet since 2006. Their ensemble of two different, yet similar, styles of voice were shown for the song "Naughty Movie" listed in MC Mong's third album.
Meanwhile, MC Mong's fifth album is expected to be released on October 6th, with 3 new songs alongside the 15 original songs. No one can be sure if MC Mong will survive through the tough competition between the idol groups nowadays. But it sure makes me swoon just thinking about hearing two of my favorite singers making harmony!

Kim Bum makes fangirls out of Filipino teen stars

From the press conference on October 3, 2009 with Maja Salvador, she mentioned that she has wrapped up filming the upcoming CF for soda brand RC Cola with Kim Bum of Boys Over Flowers.

They selected Paco and Binondo in Manila for their local backdrops. Maja mentioned there weren’t very many onlookers during the shoot because everyone was cautious about the arrival of Typhoon Parma which is now wreaking havoc in Northern Luzon.

So how was the CF shoot with Kim Bum?

“The storyline will make everyone fall in love because of the romance. I myself felt giddy. All of the people at the set whether young or old weren’t spared from feeling giddy as well.”

Would there be kissing scenes with Kim Bum in the CF?

“I suggest that everyone should just watch out for it. At this point in time, I am not yet allowed to reveal any more information with regards to the details of the commercial. But I can assure all of you that it is going to be very romantic. That is all I can say for now.”
