Female idols usually apologize for scandals with weepy ballads (and toned down images if they're sexy), but Ivy isn't exactly an idol and she doesn't have a racy image so IDK what will happen for sure.

I want her to come back strong and badass but I'm not getting my hopes up. :P

I feel you on that, but idk I think that she might go for it. I mean... ballads are not generally moneymakers like fierce songs are, and since it is a comeback lined up against attention-grabbing Hyori...

then again, I'm using strange things like rationality and logic, not often applied in K-Pop.

She got caught cheating on her boyfriend (the popular singer Wheesung) and the guy she was cheating with threatened to release a sex tape if she didn't give him a large sum of money. She sued the guy and in the end he never released it (most people think there wasn't a tape to begin with) but the damage to her image was done.

More than anything people were angry that she had cheated. :/ But IMO Wheesung was more despicable for talking about her infidelity on a radio show. That shit is no one's business but their own and he should have kept his mouth shut. But then again he is known for being childish. lol
