A high class villa in Nonhyun-Dong, pricing at around 2 billion won (around $1.5 million) stole the heart of diva pop star, Miss Lee Hyori, almost a year ago. She lives in the so-called villa of celebs on the 20th, where stars like Yoon Eun Hye and Chae Jung An are her neighbors. Check out the interior pics below. Wow, has she got some good taste or what?! The pictures are gorgeous and I would kill to live in her villa.

SG Wonderfuls Slams Chatline's Use of WG in Ad

Fans of Korean girl band Wonder Girls are up in arms over the misuse of an image of the band for a chatline ad, complete with a suggestive message.

STOMPer Nelson had earlier discovered the ad printed in Lian He Wan Bao 联合晚报. The picture is accompanied by the caption '让我们一起玩吧!' , meaning "Let us play together!".

In an email today ruthhh, moderator for SG Wonderfuls Fan Club wrote:

"I refer to the advertisement, by Voice Response Technology Pte Ltd, printed on page 20 of Lian He Wan Bao 联合晚报 on June 23.

As seen in the advertisement, popular Korean girl-group Wonder Girls are seen 'endorsing' the service by Voice Response Technology Pte Ltd.

Writing as a representative of Singapore Wonderfuls - Wonder Girls Fan Club Singapore, I hope the relevant people involved in this advertisement will take it down and discontinue the publishing of such advertisements.

An official statement of explanation or apology is much appreciated."

"Reasons:

1) This advertisement has made the headlines on STOMP, the International Fanclub of the Wonder Girls, Singapore-based Wonder Girls Fanclub, as well as the popular online community Soompi. Fans have shown their greatest disappointment in this advertisement and has deemed it as misleading and disrespectful.

2) The advertisement will affect Wonder Girls' image as idols both locally and internationally.

2PM and The 3 Musketeers for joint stage

7-member group 2PM will appear on stage to give support to trot group The 3-Musketeers.

2PM will be appearing for a joint stage with The 3-Musketeers on 28th June on SBS Inkigayo for a fun performance of ‘Let’s Go’ together with the group’s special ’sea gull dance’.

The boys had came together amidst their busy schedule to practise their dance choreography together for the joint stage.

Recently The 3-Musketeers had caused a topic by performing on stage wearing Son DamBi’s performance costumes and dancing with a huge group of back dancers.


According to 2pm-online, Only Jay, Wooyoung, and Junho will perform this trot song with the 3 Musketeers.

Marty Friedman, American, is the lead/rhythm guitarist for thrash metal band, Magadeth.

*They would sell even if they weren't good looking! TVXQ's singing ability is worth its value in money
TVXQ, an accapella dance group from Korea, and who attended last year's Kouhaku Uta Gassen, can be said to be the representative of "Global J-pop" with their impressive harmonizing.

Maybe fans will say it's bullNUMBER 2, but to me, if you can sing, you'll be able to sell even if you weren't good looking, right?

*Their new song [Bolero], is a great ballad that showcases their super vocals.
What surprised me was that compared to other J-pop ballads, the feeling for this song is dark. The beat is slow, and there was no usage of guitars etc. Even so, the song gave off a dark and haunting vibe to me.

I like K-pop too, and I listen to it often, and there are of course other songs with dark vibes too. The difference with J-pop is that K-pop uses Classic music as it's foundation, thus naturally creating a melody with a dramatic feel.

At the "ending climax", one person (Jaejoong) uses an almost feminine pitch to produce the effect of harmonizing between men and women; the harmonization from the 5 of them is amazing!

Wondergirls get some American press

So far, the American debut of the Wondergirls has just been a lot of word of mouth and internet hype, but that has changed, since the Wondergirls were actually featured in a piece in the Seattle Times. Granted I’m not sure if the article made it in the print version (apparently it did), but nonetheless, it’s solid exposure from a media outlet that is not dedicated to celebrities, entertainment, and pop culture.

The article is basically human interest fluff as it just talks about the Wondergirls as a teenage pop sensation who are just looking forward to being in America. Nothing hard-hitting, scandalous, or particularly newsworthy here. All the girls, except So-hee, offer a quote in their very colloquial ESL English, so it’s another chance for fans to catch a glimpse of their English skills.

Today, Taoyuan International Airport was an extremely lively and enthusiastic place. Two Korean idol groups, Super Junior and SS501 arrived at Taiwan at nearly the same time. More than a thousand fans gathered at the airport, exploding with sharp screams and cheers for more than half an hour. Some fans even disregarded their own safety and rushed onto the street just outside the airport, just for a chance to see their idols close-up. The scene was extremely dangerous, yet breathtaking at the same time.

The moment that Super Junior stepped into the main hall at the airport, the fans at the scene exploded into screams, one after another, and exhibited a completely crazed and chaotic state of mind. Even after the members left the hall, the fans still followed after closely, and almost got into a disagreement with the security guards. Super Junior, who came to Taiwan in order to participate in the Golden Melody Awards, nearly caused a huge scene to erupt at Taiwan’s airport. Fans didn’t even care for their own safety and occupied the road where cars were running; it was extremely hazardous.

For the whole afternoon, Taoyuan Airport was filled with idol-chasing fans, causing someone to even lose their shoe. The ear-piercing screams were even harder to bear for passerby’s in the airport, leaving them to cover their ears as an only option in order to avoid the shouting.

The ad from SNSD's fancafe "Hwa Soo Eun Hwa" says: "The 28th of June is SNSD member Seohyun's 18th birthday. Singer Seo In Young (25) has released a new book ‘Seo In Young’s Shopping Trip – Tokyo edition’ on shopping know-how.

She will be releasing a whole series of this new book, starting on her shopping experience in Japan, there are also plans for her to release books for shopping know-how in Singapore, New York and Seoul.

The book will also teach ways where one can enjoy travelling and shopping in those places. Seo In Young will also introduce her favourite items from various shopping malls she visited in Tokyo – ranging from beauty items, fashion items, and also styling tips and make up methods.

The article about SIY releasing a book was previously posted but not the press conference pictures. Since there was not article for the pictures I decided to add the book description from the previous post so that people know what the book is about.

T-Max & Kim Joon solo....FINALLY

Kim Jun began to shoot the MV for his solo on June 25th.  T- Max's new album will be out at 9th of July together with Kim Jun's solo. Hyun Bin will be guest starring in Kim Jun's solo MV.

Because of the MV, Kim Jun danced vigorously with a bunch of dancers. According to the MV script, the story is about Kim Jun attracted to a girl and leads to a fight scene. This character is much different than the Song Woo Bin character in BOF, and will be more powerful and manly.

According to Kim Jun, his character in the mv is an energetic and masculine image.

When the shooting was going on, Kim Hyun Joong specially visited Kim Jun to support him. But he ended up surrounded by a bunch of media.

The MV will be out on this 9th July together with T-Max album.

this was posted half an hour ago, so I guess the girls already finished their performance. I've been so nervous for them the whole day, I swear. I hope they'd done amazingly.
Anyway, in the picture you see 6 hands (the girls' I asume the other is JYP's). Also, you see legs, and you see bare legs, not legs with colorful tights. Do you think this might mean that maybe someone snapped some common sense on JYP at the last moment and he decided not to send them on the awful costumes with the fugly wigs? Or could they be someone else's legs?

2pm to release first overseas album

2PM will release an official album in Thailand leading the ‘Thailand Korean wave’.

2PM will release a ‘2PM Thailand Special Edition’ which will include 2 CDs with songs from their 1st single ‘Hottest time of the day’ and their new single ‘2:00PM Time for Change’ together with a DVD containing the group’s MV.

The DVD will include the MVs ‘10 points out of 10′ and ‘Again & Again’ which had both taken the boys up to the #1 spot on Thailand MTV and Channel V chart.

Recently 2PM member Nich Khun has also been in the limelight for doing CF modelling in Thailand.

2PM talked about releasing an album in Thailand, “We are very excited to release an overseas album, it is even more exciting that we are releasing in Thailand where we have won 3 #1s on their charts this year. We are looking forward to meeting our fans in Thailand for our promotions there.”

Meanwhile the boys are promoting their latest hit ‘I Hate You’.

KARA reveal comeback secrets, “We are watching and observing the other girl groups too”

KARA came back with a performance on KBS Music Bank on 26th June after their promotional activities for ‘Honey’ ended in April.

It has been said that the girls will comeback end-July. They will join the ‘war of the girl groups’ with So Nyeo Shi Dae, Brown Eyed Girls, 2NE1, 4Minute etc.

KARA Han Seung Yeon said in the waiting room during Music Bank, “After resting for a while, it felt like our heart has went on a vacation. We hope that everyone will look forward to our new image with our new album and comeback.”

 

SeungYeon spoke about the other girlgroups, “We are very interested in the other girl groups and we are observing them too. They bring really good and fun performances. We will show a side that is more matured than when we debuted. We are very envious and there are also many things that we have seen and learned. But we will have our charms different from other groups. We will show the charms that are special only to ourselves. We are confident of that.”

Leader Park GyuRi said, “We are currently working hard on recording. We will soon go into choreography practice. We are observing the other great girlgroups who are capable and talented. We will show a more developed (improved) side of us through this album. There will be a KARA-cuteness, but we will also have charms that are special to us.”

SHINee fans demand an apology from KBS: “You caused such a big accident on our oppa”

As shown in the photo is SHINee Onew being carried away by his manager after fainting during the filming of KBS Music Bank on 26th June.

The accident happened during the filming that the light fixture at the show had fell, and Onew had fainted due to shock from it even though he did not suffer from major injuries.

He was hospitalised but discharged again, reportedly back to his normal healthy state, and he also performed with SHINee members for MBC Music Core on 27th June. But fans still want an apology from KBS Music Bank for causing the accident.

Fans are demanding for an apology by flooding up Music Bank’s noticeboard. But up till now there is no response from KBS's side.
