I feel like Kai was trying too hard. but hey at least Kai got the attention that SM wanted for him since debut (releasing most predebut teasers etc)

i personally loved kai's solo dance! i didn't think he tried too hard, i think he tried to show his best
and i rather have him try too hard to show is best than to be lazy and slack off, he worked really hard and it showed! i think that definitely deserves recognition

it’s legit been 7 years. let the bitterness towards teaser era GO already. he is exo’s center like irene is to red velvet, yoona to snsd, krystal to f(x), taeyong to nct etc. not to mention main dancer on top of that. (also you’ve been living under a rock if you think that this performance is the only acclaim he’s received since teaser era.)

nah i feel you he is too OTT especially for this comeback, it comes off as cringy and he doesnt bother to match the group like at least take it down 3 notches to match your teammates energy, it makes them look even more out of sync than usual

word. but Kai lovers love those elements of his performance style. For me, his ott-ness + theater club acting lessens the things he does well.
