Young actor Wang Suk-hyun was threatened to death by a male fan in the 30s

On December 26, Wang Suk-hyun’s agency released an official statement regarding a recent incident involving the actor.

On December 20, the convict called Wang Suk-hyun’s school and agency. The man, who introduced himself as a member of “Firearm Distributors Association,” threatened the actor to death.

Goo Hara Meets Fans for the First Time Since Assault Incident

On December 24, Goo Hara had a fan meet event in Kanagawa, Japan. It was the first official appearance as a K-pop star since her involvement in the assault incident with her ex-boyfriend.

At the fan meeting, Goo Hara read a letter to her fans in appreciation. “Many things happened to me this year, both happy and sad,” she wrote. “I had fans who supported me even at the moments when I thought everything was over. I want to thank all of you.”

Sunye takes maternity photos with her two daughters

On December 25, Sunye posted pictures to her Instagram, sending warm Christmas greetings to fans.

“Merry Christmas, everyone,” reads the caption. “I had a photo shoot with our children, celebrating our soon-to-be-born third kid. It was like a present for us, especially because we could help children in Haiti through this photo shoot collaboration! Enjoy your holiday and please share warmth!”

Details of g.o.d's 20th anniversary project album released

While g.o.d pre-released the song ‘Snowfall’, they announced that their special album ‘THEN&NOW’ will be released on January 10th next year. The overall production was done by Kim Tae-woo, and all other members have also joined creating the album. The album will be a meaningful gift for their fans, who have loved them for 20 years.

The album title ‘THEN&NOW’ means that g.o.d has put both the past and present in the album. A total of 10 songs are in the album, including not only new songs, but also remakes of the group’s hit songs. Among the remakes, the title song of g.o.d’s 4th album ‘Road’ was newly arranged by Jeong Dong-hwan of MeloMance, and featured by IU, Henry, Jo Hyun-ah, and Yang Da-il.

g.o.d will also have a concert to celebrate their 20th anniversary. On January 13th next year, which will be their 20th anniversary date, the group will have ‘god GREATEST 20th Anniversary’ stage at KSPO DOME.

Kwon Kwang Jin will be leaving N.Flying.

Last week, fans demanded for the bassist to leave the group following various accusations including those of him dating fans, making sexually offensive comments to fans, and speaking ill of his members.

Following the accusations, FNC Entertainment released a statement saying that the accusations are not true but that he did interact with fans outside of schedules. As a result, it was announced that he would halt activities.

On December 26, a new statement was revealed announcing his permanent departure from the group.

The East Light's Agency and members refute claims by Lee Seok Cheol and Lee Seung Hyun

On December 26 at 2 p.m. KST, Media Line Entertainment held a press conference to speak out against reports of abuse of The East Light members.

Recently, producer Moon Young Il was imprisoned for violence. Media Line Entertainment’s CEO Kim Chang Hwan had his case forwarded to the prosecutor’s office to be indicted, while president Lee Jung Hyun had his case forwarded with the suggestion of no indictments.

Kim Chang Hwan, Lee Jung Hyun, and former The East Light members Jung Sa Gang and Lee Eun Sung were in attendance at the press conference.

Kim Chang Hwan began, “For the past two months, we diligently participated in police investigations. However, I cannot get rid of the perception that the investigation is biased following public opinion due to the accuser’s one-sided press conference rather than the truth and essence of this incident. We will provide the exact grounds and explain the truth that haven’t been revealed to the media.”
