Girl Group T-ara member Jiyeon has signed an exclusive contract with Chinese entertainment management agency Longzhen Cultural Development, the agency said Thursday. "The contract with Jiyeon was signed last month," Longzhen said in a press release.
"Longzhen will be in charge of managing Jiyeong's activities in various fields including music, drama, movies, performances, TV shows and commercials," the company said, committing to "full support" for her.
The four T-ara members' previous contract with MBK Entertainment expired in December last year and none of them renewed the contract with the agency.
A day earlier, South Korea's Sublime Artist Agency said it has signed an exclusive contract with Hyomin, another T-ara member, who plans to release a new solo album before September with the new agency.
Since her debut as a T-ara member in 2009, Jiyeon has also been pursuing an acting career, appearing in a number of drama series. With the new agency, Jiyeon also plans to host a meeting with her fans in Hong Kong in the second half of this year.

On May 16, a representative from JYP Entertainment confirmed that Yubin, the designated rapper in the now disbanded Wonder Girls, will be making a solo debut.
Reportedly, the rapper recently finished filming her music video. More, the album is supposedly in the final stages of completion. However, the representative said that the company has not settled on a timing schedule for her return. Nevertheless, multiple insiders in the music industry have speculated that she will likely return during the second week of June.
Yubin initially announced her solo debut in various interviews. During an interview with fashion magazine Cosmopolitan, the rapper said that as she watched Sunmi and Ye-eun (HA:TFELT) release music and promote she felt simultaneously impressed yet also jealous. She explained that she felt invigorated and wanted to express a unique side of herself as well outside of girl group Wonder Girls.
As part of the girl group, Yubin showcased she skills as a rapper and drummer since they first appeared in 2007. When the group disbanded in early 2017, the rapper took a break from music activities.

Singer Jang Yun-Jeong is expecting

On May 16, Jang Yun-Jeong and her husband Do Kyung-Wan announced that they are expecting a second child. On the same day, Jang Yun-Jeong made the announcement herself in a KBS variety show, where she appears as the MC.
Afterwards, IOK Company released an official statement confirming Jang’s pregnancy. They said, “Jang Yun-Jeong is 4 months pregnant now. To her husband and the rest of the family, it is like a gift and blessing from heaven.”
Furthermore, Do Kyung-Wan shared the news on his personal Instagram account as well. He said, “thank you so much. My wife wanted to wait until announcing it to the public since it’s not our first child, and there have been many people announcing pregnancy these days. However, since she is appearing as a host in a show every day and her belly will get bigger soon, we decided to break out the news. We are so glad to have received so many congratulations! We will get plenty of rest and maybe this time, the child will look like the mother.”
Jang Yun-Jeong and Do Kyung-Wan got married in 2013. 4 years after giving birth to their first son, they announced pregnancy with second child.
You may remember them from Return of Superman! They appeared in a few (less than 10) episodes that chronicled the birth of their son they nicknamed "Kkomkkom". They were so cute! I really wanted to do a update post on them, but KBS doesn't have individual clips of their appearances, and I didn't want to search the full episodes. It just showed them a few weeks before, the birth, and then a few weeks after. He said the loveliest thing in the hospital after, the "I see you as a goddess" speech. They were so adorable together! The baby is all grown up, looking just like his father.

Actor Lee Seo Won has been charged with sexual harassment and making threats with a weapon, and his agency Blossom Entertainment has responded with an apology.
On May 16, news outlet JoongAng Ilbo reported that the Seoul Gwangjin Police stated that they had charged Lee Seo Won on April 8 and investigated him, before sending his case to the prosecution with a recommendation of indictment. The police stated, “The victim was a female celebrity. We forwarded the case to the Seoul East District Prosecutors’ Office earlier this month.”
According to the police, while drinking with a female celebrity (referred to as “A”), Lee Seo Won had attempted to kiss her and make physical contact, and was rejected. When he continued to attempt to make physical contact, “A” called her boyfriend to ask for help. Lee Seo Won is said to have become angry and threatened her with a weapon.
The police stated to the news outlet, “Lee Seo Won was investigated in a very inebriated state. He swore at the police officer and shouted.”
After looking into the situation, Lee Seo Won’s agency has released the following statement:
