In case you missed it in the previous teaser post, “Fake Love” will be about finding out that a fateful love was a lie. It will be of the genre emo hip hop with a grunge rock guitar sound and groovy trap beat.(x) And here you can find the US activities they have in plan for now.

Jimin is a 90s popstar, Hoseok and Yoongi are 90s grunge band members, I guess Jin looks okay, then we've got Tae straight from the 80s and Namjoon...might one of the X-Men?

Like, where do I even fucking begin with this.

Pros:
- Namjoon, hello, you look fabulous
- Naver’s song description makes sense with this preview, now we get a clearer picture

Cons:
- Jimin’s blond extensions, hi, what the fuck. When we said emo this is not what we meant
- Taehyung’s mullet intensified and no that is not a compliment
- The group dance and the set, like of all the parts you could select you picked that. The worst part. At the worst angle
- Hoseok’s ironed-flat hair. That was not the floof I was presented with earlier
- The tattered DNA outfits. Idc if it’s for story continuity!! I was hoping we could move away from them permanently and tastefully but apparently you can’t let me live

Here’s to hoping the song is worth a damn, because visuals are officially down the drain. Where’s the rum, I need to poison my liver now.

I think these haircuts were a tragic misstep. Maybe mullets are coming back in Korea, but they sure ain't in the US (at least I'm praying so) and I think they'll be laughed at in the US if their performance hair resembles the MV :(

honestly I know it's pathetic but this is my worry too. at least DNA stayed in its lane. this is almost TOO much of a concept - let's hope the styling is completely different for the awards cos if they show up in these outfits with this hair (minus jungkook, cos he seems to avoid the cutting block every damn too) it's gonna look so outdated

I've looked at the video a hundred times and still don't think their hairstyles are as tragic as so many are making them out to be. Yoongi is making me pause the video every time he comes on. That's never happened before.

Seems like they're putting the maknaes in the front for what seems like a portion of their point choreography. I know this has happened before but I can't immediately recall videos where that's happened.

We now know why they recreated The Creation of Adam. Wings tie-in galore this comeback (which is much preferable to reminiscing over DNA).
