I dont like the start with the rap, but the rest of the song is really catchy! Heard from some people that it sounds a lot more Jpop/Jrock than the usual kpop group debut in Japan...How does their Japanese sound?

their japanese is honestly a lot better than i was expecting. it's not accent-free, but the pronunciation/intonation is decent and easy to understand for the most part (only the bridge sounds a bit off? the8's japanese is the weakest). the song also flows well, which is something a lot of other kpop groups struggle with when releasing songs in japan. you can tell it was made with the intention of being sung in japanese, so yeah, it does sound a lot like actual jpop/jrock. but i always thought svt's music had a bit of a jpop feel to it anyway.

I actually thought the8’s was ok, I found scoups and vernon’s hard to listen to, but that could be because of the rap

but yeah I thought this was definitely one of the better jp releases from a kpop group, even if their intonation made me lol a bit. I can’t imagine singing in a language I’m not fluent in... I can speak Japanese yet karaoke is still a strug
