Solji of K-pop group EXID will undergo surgery for exophthalmos, her agency said Thursday.
"Solji will undergo exophthalmos surgery next Monday. Her thyroid hormone level has returned to normal but she has shown symptoms of bulging eyes," Banana Culture Entertainment said. The timing of her comeback will be decided after a full recovery. EXID's main singer has been absent from group activities after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in December 2016. Exophthalmos is a symptom, where the eyeball protrudes from the eye socket, which can occur among hyperthyroidism patients.
EXID, famous for its 2015 hit "Up and Down," released its fourth EP "Full Moon" in November. Though Solji was absent from publicity for the EP, she joined her teammates in recording the album.
Godspeed to her health and recovery.

Epilepsy warning: If you're sensitive to bright flashing colors, I suggest listening to the song with a different tab open.
There's an English, Korean, and Japanese Version.
The Korean Version is different from the English and Japanese Versions because only 2 of the members are fluent in Korean, so they decided to add on a Korean group of girls to fulfill the roles for the Korean single. These girls really put a lot of work into this, it almost seems like they're in cahoots with a Japanese company to sell products, like a LoveLive type of promotion, but this is just a collaboration of hard work and dedication from these girls which is admirable and impressive.

Sorry mods I wasn't really sure what to tag this.
I know this isn't really K-Pop so to speak, but I thought this collaboration was interesting and the quality is pretty good. Each version is unique, and it feels and sounds authentic and brings a good topic to discuss.
What do you think Omona? Do you enjoy collaborations like this? Do you think collaborations/self-produced music is something you'd want to see more of, in this case more K-Pop?
