Rookie girl group DIA was performing at a concert when member Cathy (Ki Hee Hyun) fell off the stage.

DIA’s Cathy fell from a 2m high stage (6.5ft) during their performance, when she tripped and completely fell off the stage. The stage was shaped in a “T” and not extremely wide. The group was at the “Blue Star Concert” and performing their song, “Mr. Potter”

This week was pretty darn mellow. Which suits me fine, because I just woke up from the Thanksgiving and Black Friday daze. I’m bummed because in all the hustle last night/this morning I forgot to visit Hickory Farms. Every Friday I check out the charts for this day in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see what topped this charts for the 4th Friday in November, 2013.

Breaking WhyG News: 2NE1 is Officially Disbanding!

YG has officially announced that 2NE1 is disbanding.

Though the group is no more, CL and Sandara Park have signed solo contracts with YG. Park Bom has not resigned with the agency.

Here is the official statement from YG:

“2NE1’s exclusive contract expired in May 2016, and with Minzy leaving 2NE1, we have reached the conclusion after extensive discussion with the remaining members to officially disband.

“As 2NE1 was YG’s official girl group for seven years, we cannot begin to express how we feel, but we determined that it was too difficult to continue. Rather than waiting an undetermined amount of time for 2NE1’s next promotions, we have decided to focus on the members’ solo activities.

“We sincerely thank all the fans both in Korea and abroad that have love the group and their music for all this time.

“We would like to officially announce that after last May, we resigned with CL and Sandara Park. However, unfortunately, there is no new contract with Park Bom.”

JYJ's Junsu to star in musical 'Death Note'

Kim Jun-su, a member of the popular boy band JYJ, is to star in the musical "Death Note" before starting his mandatory military service in February, the show producer said Friday.

According to CJeS Culture, the singer better known by his stage name Junsu was cast as "L," one of the two main characters of the musical. This marks his second time playing the role after 2015, the year when the licensed musical's South Korean premiere took place.

"Death Note," based on the homonymous Japanese cartoon, unravels a fierce battle of wits between the genius high school student "Light," who is gifted the power to punish the bad as he stumbles upon the Death Note, and "L," the brilliant detective who is after him. Light will be played by Han Ji-sang, who received public acclaim for his outstanding performances in previous musicals "Frankenstein" and "A Tale of Two Cities."

The upcoming musical, originally produced by the preeminent Japanese agency Horipro, enjoyed huge popularity when it was first staged here, recording sellouts for all its 57 rounds. The star studded cast also includes musical actors Park Hye-na and Kang Hong-seok for death angels "Rem" and "Ryuk," and singer Ben who will play Light's girlfriend, Amane Misa.

The musical will be put on at the Seoul Arts Center's Opera Theater in southern Seoul, from Jan. 3-26.

Singer Eric nam recently posed for men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine GQ Korea for their Men of the Year issue. GQ releases their Men of the Year issue at the end of every year, and features a select group of men who have made an impact on culture.

In an interview included in the magazine, Eric said: “I think I was selected because of all the fans that have shown interest and supported me this year. I will work harder to provide better music and repay the great service you have all done for me.”
