DIA’s Cathy Falls 6ft. Off The Stage During Performance

Rookie girl group DIA was performing at a concert when member Cathy (Ki Hee Hyun) fell off the stage.

DIA’s Cathy fell from a 2m high stage (6.5ft) during their performance, when she tripped and completely fell off the stage. The stage was shaped in a “T” and not extremely wide. The group was at the “Blue Star Concert” and performing their song, “Mr. Potter”

Thankfully, Cathy was able to get back onto the stage and continue her performance without further issue. She was taken to the hospital after the performance for a check-up.

Dia’s agency, MBK Entertainment released a statement soon afterwards saying, “[Cathy] is saying she has pain in her tailbone and near her ankles and she is getting a detailed checkup right now.”

She must have fell not too badly, she got up really quickly by herself and ran back on stage... Still her staff shouldn't have allowed her back to begin with. I hope she'll get rest to heal her ankle :(

Someone stop these dangerous stage designs or at least put some padding or a fucking trampoline to protect falling performers. The stage TWICE almost fell off of had even more ridiculous angles, but at least it was daylight out, so it was bright enough that Nayeon was able to run and grab Momo just in time to stop her falling. Here it was dark, it just seems inevitable that someone was going to get hurt. I get so mad at kpop's neglect of basic safety regs, because it'd be so easy to do things a little differently to keep people safe. How many red flags do you get before, god forbid, some kid gets paralyzed or dies in one of these accidents?

Thank god she fell feet first, that could of been much worse if she rolled or fell head first or backwards :/ that stage is way to fucking small you can see they keep awkwardly clumping up for some of the rotations and trying not to fall off the edge >.> so irresponsible to have them perform on a stage that size.

even other groups who are smaller or solo shouldn't perform on those stages what about their back dancers? If you want them to perform on such a small stage then fucking modify there choreography so that they aren't all fucking clumped up on a small walkout platfrom... =3=

They use a specific amount of space for every performance, so why make a stage with negative space where they're supposed to be dancing?
