This week was pretty darn mellow. Which suits me fine, because I just woke up from the Thanksgiving and Black Friday daze. I’m bummed because in all the hustle last night/this morning I forgot to visit Hickory Farms. Every Friday I check out the charts for this day in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see what topped this charts for the 4th Friday in November, 2013.


#3 Lim Kim “Goodbye 20”
I remember this MV! Not my favorite Lim Kim song, but it’s really good, and the MV is so cute too. Great for those days when you’re wondering why the universe is out to get you and hates you so much.

#2 Lee Juck “Lie Lie Lie”
On the right day (or wrong one, depending on how you look at it), this song will DESTROY you. Turn off the closed captions if you just want to listen to a pretty song with great vocals.

#1 2NE1 “Missing You”
I work out these Flashback Friday posts at least a month and a half to two months in advance, so this being here today is a complete coincidence. Or I’m sort of magical, mystical creature.

#6 San E “Breakup Dinner”
I remember everything about this MV except the ending. I was surprised and now I’m gutted inside. Like, I actually make the “ooooof” sound out loud.

#10 T.O.P “Doom Dada”
The fall of 2013 was good to me, in regards to most things TOP. From the movie came so much press and promo opportunities to see him, then to top it all off…a solo release and MV! Visually beautiful, quirky and weird, it all screams TOP. He must’ve liked the way he looked in it too, he made it his passport photo.
