The con man meets his match in "Oh My Geum-bi"

Oh Ji-ho (My Little Baby) stars as a hapless swindler who turned to a life of crime when he lost his sense of smell and had to give up on his dream of becoming a chef. He’s pretty bad at actually conning people though, and it’s not until he’s in prison that he finds out that he has a ten-year-old daughter named Geum-bi, played by child actress Heo Jung-eun (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds, Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho).

Geum-bi is a strong-willed little girl who decides to fix her wayward father’s life, but there’s a tragic turn when she’s diagnosed with Niemann-Pick disease type C, and begins to rapidly deteriorate mentally and physically. The rare disease is referred to as “childhood Alzheimer’s,” and despite the sad premise of watching such a young girl lose her memories, the drama promises to be an uplifting, cheerful story about family, and not a melodramatic tearjerker.

Oh My Geum-bi follows On the Way to the Airport and premiered yesterday, November 16.

B1A4 has confirmed their comeback date to be November 28. In addition to their comeback, the five-member group plans on holding a concert in February.

On November 17, a source revealed that the group will be making a comeback with their third studio album. According to the source, all of the songs have been finished and the group is filming their new music video in Jeju Island.

The group is set to make their comeback in approximately a year and three months since their last release “Sweet Girl.” Furthermore, it has been approximately two years and 10 months since their last studio album “Who Am I.”

Leader Jinyoung produced their upcoming title track which is described as a dance track that suits the early winter atmosphere.

BIGBANG has been named by Forbes as one of the highest-earning international celebrities under the age of 30!

On November 15, Forbes revealed the top 30 celebrities to make it into the list, and BIGBANG represented K-Pop in 13th place in the ranking and banking $44 million over the past year.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG also made it into the 2016 Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the highest-earning celebrities worldwide. BIGBANG became the first K-Pop act to land on the Celebrity 100 list and were revealed to have made more than American band Maroon 5 this past year.

Jessi Reportedly Involved In Physical Altercation At A Club

Rapper Jessi was reportedly involved in a physical altercation.

According to the Apgujeong police branch office, the police received a report on November 17 at around 9:30 p.m. that there was a physical altercation during a music video filming at a club in Gangnam District.

The police revealed, “There were two groups involved, Jessi’s team and alleged male victim A’s team, and they got into a verbal dispute over the fact that [one group didn’t receive the greeting of the other group]. Things escalated into a physical altercation.”

“At the scene, A testified that he was physically assaulted by Jessi, but Jessi denied the allegation,” the police continued. “The testimonies were conflicting, but both people didn’t want to be penalized. At the end of their conversation, they made up with each other, and everything was resolved at the scene.”

A source from Jessi’s agency YMC Entertainment has however denied that there was any physical violence involved, “While [at the club] to make a cameo in Duble K’s music video, Jessi met A for the first time in a while. While talking, there was a miscommunication, and they got into a verbal dispute. There was absolutely no physical assault.”

“During the verbal dispute, one of A’s group reported [the incident], but even before the police arrived, Jessi and A had already resolved [the misunderstanding]. The police arrived, but the two had already made up, so they left. It was just a happening.”

Jia has dropped the highly anticipated music video for her Chinese solo debut track “Drip”!

This is Jia’s first release under her new agency Banana Plan Entertainment, which she joined in June of this year after parting ways with JYP Entertainment and girl group miss A.

Comedian Jang Dong Min and singer Navi have now parted ways.

According to an entertainment industry source, the two have broken up after two years together. The source announced, “Rather than breaking up over any special reason, they naturally separated due to their busy schedules.”

Jang Dong Min’s agency Koen Stars later confirmed this report and added that the two now remain in a good senior-junior relationship.

Jang Dong Min and Navi’s relationship became a hot topic when they went public on the December 31, 2015 live broadcast of tvN’s “Selling Broadcast Company Time.” Since then, they have conveyed their affection towards each other on MBC’s “Radio Star” and many other variety shows.

Meanwhile, Navi recently released the song “Draw a Love” on September for the original soundtrack of MBC drama “W,” while Jang Dong Min is currently appearing on Comedy TV’s “Good Luck Race” (working title).
