are there any trends you guys just don't get? for me its the resurgence of birkenstock sandals and fanny packs...also if anyone has any suggestions for more south korean centered street fashion blogs or social media accounts let me know! it would be great to get a little bit of variety every now and again! :)

woow that second jdinkoreasince2012 pic is basically me, except i'm self conscious about stomach fat so i dont wear crop tops. my hair is even that length and i wear it like that and everything haha.

i looooooove birks. i have two pairs and am asking for the sherling lined clogs for xmas. i def don't look cool and trendy in them, tho. i look like a patagonia hippe, which i kind of am so it's okay hehe.

personally i hate really femme trends - bell sleeves, frills, peplums, etc. i really really hate the typical "girlfriend" type look in k-fashion - heels, tight skirt, white frilly blouse.

Where are all these people? Seoul?

Where I live (not Seoul but a decent sized city) everyone dresses the same. They all look like they took outfits directly off of the mannequins from any store because all stores sell the same trends. Shopping here is so repetitive.

It's cool to see people dressed a little differently though.

I didn't think I had a personal style because physically, I don't, and financially, I can't afford my taste. But in my mind I'm a genius visionary of fashion. Lol.

excessive fringe. a tassel or two is okay, but i just don't get the appeal of having everything flapping about everywhere. also patchwork denim/prints. save it for your quilts, y'all.

i say all that, but my sense of style is actually not that great LOL it's mostly due to the fact that i don't have the money to be constantly buying trendy clothes + i can't bear to throw out my old clothes because they're still in good condition

I say that I'll never be ok with fanny packs coming back but I've said that about other trends and given in...but I can only see them as goofy American dad travelling attire.
