INFINITE’s L Declines His First Lead Role In Upcoming JTBC Drama

Following reports of INFINITE’s L being considered to star in JTBC’s “Solomon’s Perjury” (tentative title) it has been decided that he will not be taking the said role in the drama.

On November 1, a source from “Solomon’s Perjury” confirmed, “Due to schedule-related issues, L will not be able to appear [in the drama]. He wanted to join the drama, but he ultimately turned it down.”

Woollim Entertainment also commented on November 1, “[L] is currently wrapping up the 4-episode KBS drama ‘The Day After We Broke Up’ (tentative title), and nothing has been decided about his next project yet.”

“Solomon’s Perjury” is based on a novel of the same name by famous Japanese author Miyuki Miyabe. The drama’s story unfolds when a student is killed in a fall on Christmas day, and his classmates try to uncover the truth behind the incident. Casting for the Korean drama remake is currently underway.

Meanwhile, L is set to star in his first lead role alongside Tahiti’s Jisoo in “The Day After We Broke Up,” which is described as a Christmas fantasy romance about an indie band vocalist who involuntarily leaps through time.

“The Day After We Broke Up” is a joint Korean-Japanese production which will air within the year.

Tzuyu makes a hilarious spelling error in thank you notes of TWICE's new album

In an honest - yet hilarious - mistake, TWICE's Tzuyu makes a spelling error in the liner notes of the group's new album, accidentally calling their CEO a "bi*ch"!

For those who are unaware, four of TWICE's members - Momo, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu - are not from Korea, and have had to learn Korean during their trainee days. While their Korean is vastly improved since their trainee days, spelling and language mistakes understandably happens every now and again, and the most recent - and hilarious - error comes courtesy from Tzuyu!

In the liner notes of TWICE's new album "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1", Tzuyu included some handwritten thank you notes, expressing gratitude to many people, including JYP Entertainment CEO J.Y. Park.

However, fans have noticed that she made a small, but all-too-notable error when she thanked J.Y. Park in her notes:

For those who are unaware, Tzuyu wrote "JYP Ne-Ee-Nyun" instead if "JYP Ne-Ee-Shun (nation)" ."Ne-Ee-Nyun" means"You b*tch" in Korean. So instead of "JYP Nation," she wrote"JYP you b*tch", essentially calling her agency CEO a "bi*ch"!

Needless to say, fans have had a field day with Tzuyu's typo, finding the mistake hilariously adorable and jokingly suggesting that the "typo" was intentional. The cherry on top of this funny episode have been the all-too-appropriate photoshop images of JYP, Tzuyu, and her mistake.

Religious cults are not point here

Many foreigners, especially those hailing from Western countries, seem to digress from the whole point of the Choi Soon-sil and President Park Geun-hye fiasco that has brought chaos to Korea. Although it is understandable that Western media may be overwhelmed with the sudden surge of information uploaded on a daily basis by the Korean media, it is absolutely unforgivable how they have distorted the real issue at stake. Korea is not like the United States or Europe.
