at this point i dunno if she's

a) so focused on looking ~pretty that she's afraid to emote (i'm not judging btw, if i was a performer i would probably be terrified of coming out ugly on camera lmao)
b) so focused on the choreo and formations and following the right camera etc that she forgets to be expressive
c) just super uncharismatic as a performer

i either way i really hope jyp or someone tells her how to at least look as if she's enjoying the stage even if she isnt because eventually it will hurt her reputation and make her seem inexperienced, i get being quiet is her nature but sometimes it's irritating?


take sunny, krystal, naeun, yeri, and sohee for example, they're known for resting bitch face and still seem happy on stage

I didn't notice how flat she was on stage until recently, and I've been wondering what the deal is -- my guess is that it's some combination of A + B, and I wouldn't be surprised if korean being her second language has something to do with it. I think it's passable because they're still extremely new as a group and pretty young overall, but I'm hoping she improves or smthn. Just give me SOMETHING in the face.

Sana is my fave and when I watch her fancams, she is emoting to some degree all. the time.

Yup this is the main thing abt watching her that I kinda find grating sometimes. She doesn't open her mouth much when she sings! And then combined with the stiff expressions/movements...hmm
