Members Leo and Ravi reportedly complained of being woozy and fainted onstage during a performance in Mexico. On May 23, VIXX’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment conveyed the news of Leo and Ravi’s conditions via a statement posted to the group’s fan café. The full statement reads as follows:

“Hello, this is Jellyfish Entertainment.

Many fans were worried after hearing the news that Leo and Ravi fainted onstage during a concert in Mexico today, so we will update you on the situation.

The concert venue is in the highlands, and that combined with the heat inside the venue led the two members to complain of dizziness. It became clear that the two members could not continue their performance.

In order to fulfill the promise between the members and the fans, the remaining four members will continue their performances to the best of their ability. Right now, Leo and Ravi are receiving emergency treatment from a medical team and are currently recovering. All of Leo and Ravi’s schedules are canceled, and the two will return to Korea to receive treatment at a hospital and rest.

We deeply apologize for worrying the fans.”

VIXX is due to have a fan meeting at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on June 19, although it’s unclear whether or not Ravi and Leo will be well enough to participate by then. Hopefully they both get well soon!

F.CUZ's official fanclub posted an update regarding Jinon's health and the promotion due to take place for their 10th Japanese single "Wonder World" that will be released on June 22nd.

Thank you for always supporting and loving F.CUZ.

Today we have some very important news for you. Some time ago when Jinon took the Military Manpower Administration’s health exam it was found that his disk herniation has become much worse than what we thought. Not wanting to worry the fans, Jinon has been continuing his activities as an idol while receiving treatment but due to his extreme pain and how his condition has gotten worse, we have come to the decision that he will have to take a break from his activities. Further, as he has to serve in the military he has decided to put all his efforts into treating his condition and to take a re-exam and serve in the military afterwards.

The release of F.CUZ’s 10th since ”Wonder World” on June 22nd.

Jinon has expressed his desire to take part in the events and concerts for the release of the CD but due to his decision we have after much thought decided to put his health first. Therefore all promotions in June will be done by Yejun and Kan alone. We apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to meeting Jinon.

FYI: Brian/Young K was born and raised in Korea, but his parents moved to Toronto so he went to some of middle school and all of high school in Toronto before getting into JYPE and going to Korea. He was part of a band with Terry He (the MC for the concert) and Don Lee called 3rd Degree (you can find lots of their old videos on Terry's YT channel), as well as a bigger group called KMESS. I think most of the members, if not all, of KMESS came to the concert, and Brian's parents and friends came as well! To get a closer idea of how close they are, check out the video they made before Brian left for Korea.

Apparently the staff were really strict with videos during the event, but we still have some fan cams to look at! I listened to the livestream, and the fans were really great. The fanchants during Letting Go were so loud, and the boys said that they almost cried hearing them. I'm so happy for all of them, but especially for Brian. You could tell how much it meant for him to perform in Toronto, T.T

Despite previous reports of boy group BIGBANG’s guerrilla concert, the event was ultimately canceled, to the disappointment of fans.

Hello. This is YG Entertainment.

We would like to notify you that BIGBANG’s guerrilla concert, which was scheduled for this week, has ultimately been canceled.

While coming up with ideas for various commemorative events in celebration of BIGBANG’s tenth anniversary since debuting, we had planned on holding a surprise guerrilla concert, but the news ended up spreading to the media and external entities in the process of reserving a location.

YG Entertainment and the BIGBANG members worried a great deal after the news of the surprise event broke, due to safety concerns of a large number of fans crowding to get to the guerrilla concert, which became as if it was announced in advance.

After long and hard consideration, YG Entertainment and BIGBANG would like to let you know that we are canceling the guerrilla concert and are coming up with other ideas to enjoy the 10th anniversary with fans as safely as possible.

A little way into her song “1, 2, 3, 4,” the backing music starts to cut out due to technical problems. Even as the music is completely silenced, Lee Hi remains unfazed and holds her microphone to the audience, who enthusiastically sing back the words of the song. Lee Hi and the audience continue in an amazing a cappella duet for the remainder of the song, with both sides appearing to have a lot of fun.

As the song ends, Lee Hi asks, “What’s going on?” while laughing. The audience replies with thunderous applause, chanting her name. Happy at this response, she says, “I really like this. I don’t want to leave.” At this, the audience begins calling for an encore and Lee Hi confidently begins her next performance in spite of the disruption of the technical difficulties.

Boy Group KNK is making a comeback with their first ever mini album!

On May 23 at midnight KST, the group shared a teaser image for their comeback via social media. The caption reads, “KNK is Back Again!” and promises the release of their first mini album “Awake” on June 2.

The teaser image only shows what looks like the outside of a storage container, but we can definitely expect some teaser images of the guys soon!

KNK is a five-member group under YNB Entertainment that held their debut showcase in February of 2016 and later released their debut single album “Knock” in March.

“Entourage” Producers Plan To Balance American And Korean Elements In Remake

Cable channel tvN recently confirmed its remake of American HBO show “Entourage,” and expectations are high for how tvN will recreate the television series in a way that resonates with Korean culture and emotions.

“Entourage” is a black comedy drama about life in the entertainment industry, telling the story of the fictional A-list actor Cha Young Bin and his friends Ho Jin, Cha Joon, and Geo Buk, as well as his agent Eun Gab.

The Korean adaptation’s main cast has been finalized with big names such as Lee Kwang Soo, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Dong Hwi, Ahn So Hee, Park Jung Min, and Jo Jin Woong.
