whether Oh My Girl is trending or not, when they get dissed on PANN, their fans are always there to back them up so I went and looked for the reason!
I realized that they really treasure their fans, they're also kind, innocent and their personalities are really good!
this one is pretty popular, it was during Oh My Girl's fansign, they held it for about an hour and a half and were on their way to leave when they started to talk with their manager
they were making their way to the door and realized there was a fan in a wheelchair
they went to give her an autograph one by one and started talking to her
in the end, they dragged the fansign for 3 hours
Oh My Girl's fansigns are known to be super long, they always make sure to finish signing everyone's stuff, but you'd think that they'll leave after that? they will start playing games ㅋㅋ
stuff like mafia, imitation games, etc. and once they're done, they would still ask the fans "what should we do now?" until the fans themselves don't have enough time, they would finally leave ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
when they get off stage after events, they always talk to the fans and make eye contact with each of them, seriously even as a girl, it's heart fluttering
and they're polite too, they bow 90 degrees to the fans and greet everyone
they even bow 90 degrees to non-fans
even other sunbaes mention how Oh My Girl greets perfectly every time (Twice, BTOB, KARA, Lovelyz, etc.)
there was also an anecdote from a non-fan saying how she was trying to look for the washroom during IAC and
ever since then she was called the toilet fairy

and they seem to be close like unnies to their fansㅋㅋㅋ they would ask stuff like "did you eat?"
and if we respond "we didn't eat" they'll yell at us saying "Why aren't you eating! You're gonna collapse!" ㅋㅋ they're really friendly
that was given to the wife of the owner of their costumes laundry place
they always call her to thank her and said that Oh My Girl are really pretty
there are lots of fan accounts from them and they're known to give back to their fans too by making tributes for them
all of the anecdotes boil down to how kind and polite they are, there has never been a bad fan account
And when they were asked what was the most memorable moment for them since their debut, they replied that "even non-fans knew our songs and they knew our dance, when they cheered for us, I felt like crying" they really look innocent, I hope they'll retain this innocence!

Welcome to the first edition of Cream, Sugar, & Music. We sit down with music industry professionals to take you behind the scenes and discuss their latest projects over a cup of coffee. Today, we're at Standard Coffee Bar in Gangnam Station with the producer and songwriter of GOT7's "FISH" and "HOME RUN" from their new album, "FLIGHT LOG : DEPARTURE".
Daniel Kim is a producer, songwriter, mixing engineer, and guitarist from Seoul, Korea. He's worked with groups such as miss A, TWICE, Secret, B.A.P and GOT7. He is currently signed to Universal Music Publishing.
KPN: How did you first get into the music industry?
DK: I actually made my debut in Japan as a J-pop producer. I went there to study audio engineering and learn how to write songs because I think Japanese people have a great sense of melody and they're a lot more open to different styles of music. Back then I wanted to play heavy metal so I thought it was the right move to make. I ended up joining a band as the guitarist and we almost got signed to a label, but when things didn't work out, that's when I turned to music production.

OP noticed some things about Joy's images that makes her stand out/different from the other members and questions whether SM has some intention behind it.
"Irene, Seulgie, and Wendy were official trainees under SM Rookiez while Joy was the private trainee. She wasn't revealed until Red Velvet's debut teaser was released (Yeri was an official public trainee before her debut too).
In the 'Happiness' picture, you'll notice that Joy is the only one who has a gem in her crown and while the other members look surprised, she looks blank faced.
In their 'Ice Cream Cake' pictures, the members all have close ups and are staring at the camera directly while Joy is the only one turning around. The other members also have blonde hair while Joy has strawberry.
In the music video, there's also a scene where Joy's the only one standing outside and the other members are all looking at her.
In 'Dumb Dumb', she's placed in the front as if she's leading the group and she's also the only one without one foot up in the air.
Lastly, in the music video, Joy is the only one who isn't depicted as a doll."
