We can see numerous foreigners from English speaking countries around the country that have come to Korea to teach English. Living in a foreign country is so challenging and they may confront unexpected difficulties caused by cultural differences. However, I have met so many devoted foreigners who are willing to teach Korean students English with enthusiasm and kindness. They also hope to learn Korean culture and the Korean language, which is laudable and respectful.

As I have made a remarkable friendship with many foreigners through a variety of activities over the past three years, I noticed some differences between Koreans and foreigners that have resulted in a “culture shock."

Imo the writer is not so much being insensitive or derogatory as he is purely naïve.. a lot of Koreans think in this way. But still not sure I cared for him clumping "Western culture" into one big thing, as every country can be quite different.. T-ara announced that it will be working with popular composer Brave Brothers for the title song.

T-ara was debating between a song by Brave Bothers and another by Shinsadong Tiger, and in the end, chose “Completely Crazy” [working title] by Brave Brothers. While the composer has worked with member Hyomin on her solo song “NICE BODY” in the past, he has never worked with the complete six-member T-ara before. Meanwhile, Shinsadong Tiger’s song “1, 2, 3” will be included in T-ara’s Chinese album.

Meanwhile, member Jiyeon revealed a photo of herself during a costume fitting for the girl group’s upcoming comeback, allowing fans to get a glimpse of the concept for the new album. Jiyeon hints at a marine look for the group, as she is wearing a sailor’s cap and a striped shirt.

Lee Jung Hee Booked on Allegations of Child Abuse

In an unexpected turn of events, Lee Jung Hee has been booked by the police under suspicion of child abuse.

Lee Jung Hee (44 years old), who accused her husband of subjecting her and their two sons to years of sexual slavery, was booked, announced by the police on July 23, for the alleged abuse of her two sons. She is accused of brainwashing her two sons (17 and 13 years old) between September of last year till recently into testifying that they were sexually abused. She is also accused of harming their mental health. Additionally, Lee Jung Hee is accused of keeping them out of school after her two sons returned to Korea last year (in June and October 2014, respectively).
