Does the company still have a "debt" on them and keep most of the profits? I know it's expensive to have a group, record songs, release the album, etc but it seems like it's often an excuse in order not to properly pay the idols

I'm usually broke but damn I could have scrapped some €€ for their album but with the capital controls rn it's impossible to buy anything from outside the country (which is the least of my problems but still!)

my poor babies, but this doesn't surprise me in the least. They are getting more popular and the public knows them, I just don't get why they don't make it big. But at the same time I'm scared that as soon they do, starempire will be even worse!

sometimes I complain i don't get payed enough, but when I see how much some idols get, I think I could have a better life than them...which is pretty sad

it seems to me that having an album that sells well is not enough for our dear kpop idols to survive. its understandable somehow coz you also spend for album production and promotion so i guess they take that out first before income is distributed to the members. so they need to score those endorsements as well for extra income.

I can't believe how Infinite are so popular and huge but these girls no. And I'm saying this because musically speaking they are the same. Seriously Wild sounds like a Infinite song.

I guess other groups rely on other sources of income such as variety, Cfs and acting.

Expenses: Trainee Debt, living expenses, idol classes (Vocal, dance, language, acting), Gym, Management fee = $$$$

I'm actually am surprised they are even paid at all, meaning they have paid off their debts and are making a profit???

I wonder if the company also helps with feeding them instead of them buying their own food because i always see pics of them eating well and always drinking iced coffees.
