# CNU's life graph: Deep thoughts that others do not know about Looking at the way he pondered over how he felt when he was born, CNU seems to have the deepest thoughts amongst the B1A4 members. "The first point of my life graph is a random spot that is neither high nor low, on a white piece of paper," he said. "Was I happy when I was born? Was I thankful? I'm not too sure how I felt," he expressed as he started his life graph.
CNU spoke about the hard times they had before debut, commenting that after their debut he has only had good things happen to him. "A few friends and I formed a band by the name of Gaepgol when we were in high school, but we didn't have a space to practice in or musical instruments. Thankfully the music teacher bought us instruments so after much complications we managed to practice," adding on that he wanted to make sure of this chance to thank that music teacher.
His passion for music brought him up to Seoul. Even though he came up from Chungcheongbuk-do with a hopeful heart, his repeated failures in auditions caused him to be embarrassed to even look his elder sister straight in her face. However she patted him on his back and told him not to be disappointed upon failing the auditions, and it was then CNU gathered up more courage. He went on to win an award with a friend at a youth festival, and became a trainee. "I was really happy to even become a trainee because it felt like I was one step closer to dream," he said. CNU then honestly expressed his feelings through dotted lines. He explained that he had a hard time psychologically due to loneliness from being alone out of the town and the future being ambiguous. With the debut of B1A4, he removed those thoughts from his mind.
Even though he drew an ascending graph that expressed how B1A4 was all over the place winning rookie awards, first place awards and holding their solo concerts, you can see inconsistent lines that go up and down. CNU explained that among the continuous moments of happiness there are confusing and mysterious feelings mixed inside - he felt happy but it is hard to explain the situation. "There is pressure and a sense of responsibility to have to do better. There were times that I questioned myself if I was actually doing well," revealing his deep thoughts. He continued, "Every time that happens, the fans hold onto me. I will work even harder," thanking the fans.
# Jinyoung's life graph: King of positivism Jinyoung
Leader Jinyoung's life graph is simple. To the point that he would express his younger days, middle school days and high school days as being easy. Jinyoung discovered his flair for leading early when he was elected as vice-president of the student body in 6th grade of elementary school. He expressed that he would promote and appeal to people ever since young, revealing the secret to having been elected as vice-president. His active predisposition also shone during his high school days. Even though he says high school passed easily, Jinyoung attended a foreign language high school, possessing an elite personal history. His photograph also won first place in a poll on Mnet's homepage, and was casted in various dramas as an extra.
Even though he had a fancy personal history, Jinyoung chose the moment from when his life started to be when B1A4 debuted. He expressed energetically as though he were a sports announcer, 'after debut, only happy things remain - and the graph keeps ascending due to us receiving our rookie award and holding a solo concert. Then there is getting first place on all 3 public broadcast music shows! Getting cast for 'Suspicious Granny! And it goes up up up with us winning our triple crown at age 24!" Jinyoung is not only receiving a lot of love with 'Lonely', but he is also spending happy days with the success of 'Suspicious Granny'. On 13 February he held a free hug event to thank everyone for surpassing the 5 million mark. Jinyoung commented, "It is my screen debut and I am dazed yet happy that the movie is doing so well. I think it was only possible with all the good seniors and staff. I will continue to work hard in future. Thank you to everyone who loved the movie, please watch it nicely".
The times that Jinyoung thought were difficult was only when he had to get up early when he was younger. He looked back on his younger days and said that it was really tough to get up in the mornings to go to school. However now, he is a member of an idol group that is so busy promoting that they have to take catnaps. This is as good as an assumption to how hard he works, and at the same time you can see the aspect of King of Positivism Jinyoung. Despite having faced with frustration many a times, he did not draw it out in conversation. "I have many positive thoughts, so I do not really bring up the unpleasant moments," he commented while expressing his excitement for the future, about what is to happen on his life graph.
#Sandeul's life graph: Immortal Sandeul
As you can feel from how Sandeul wrote 'We got first place♥' filled with so much aegyo, his life graph is of a steep slope, showing how B1A4 is on a roll. In particular, his personal career is also included on his life graph so you will be able to see his life in an eye.
Sandeul has extraordinary skills that allows him to be first in whatever he does. He had a weak constitution when he was young so he always got teased by his friends, but he overcame it through swimming and taekwondo. He showed talent for inline skating by winning first place in a competition. After he learnt how to sing when he was 17 years old, he went on to win numerous awards in music festivals and got the grand prize in the 2010 Korea Youth Musical Festival. And talking about the first places he has achieved as B1A4 would be like nagging. But there are things that Sandeul did not manage to place first for. "I tried to study hard when I was in middle school but it was not really any fun at all," he expressed his opinion truthfully.
The one thing that continually came up on Sandeul's life graph was Immortal Song. He chose the most memorable stages to be 'To Live Like A Man' he did with Baro, his stage as a solo 'Forgotten Season' and the duet he did with actor Choi Minsoo 'Lady in the Rain'. His best stage would definitely be the solo he won first place with, 'I Am A Candle Before You'. He expressed this with a 'Yoohoo~♥' on his life graph, showing his happiness.
Even though he spent his best moments going on music broadcasts with 'Lonely', Sandeul also expressed the moments of slump he fell into often with clouds. Sandeul revealed that "Ever since I learnt how to sing, I often fall into a slump. There are many problems that I cannot solve on my own, and one of those is my slump. " He went on to share that whenever he falls into a slump he will listen to the opinions of people around him, and try to organize his own thoughts to get out of the slump.
# Baro's life graph: Replying without a hitch
Baro's life graph is memorable because it reflects his real life personality. Even though he is playful and humourous, when it comes to work he shows a professional side to him with a serious face. His life graph is filled with his successes that people can easily recognize, and it shows how he is making sure to leave clear footprints with every step he takes.
Even though he spent a hard time coming up from Gwangju to Seoul to become a trainee, it was a time for him where he confirmed his dream of being a singer. Baro expressed, "Honestly I did not have the conviction that I wanted to live and feed on music. I liked hiphop, but there wasn't really an academy where you could learn that. It was just a hobby I liked alone." However he got his confirmation when he was accepted through an audition, and has arrived at where he is now by not letting go on an opportunity. It was really a 'what's going on' when they received their first ever first place in a music broadcast with What's Going On last year. And like he has emphasized on his life graph, the popularity he received from Reply 1994 is one of his best moments. He looked back on the best moment in his life, penning down "I love you, Reply 1994 team". Baro also thanked everyone for the 8 trophies they received with Lonely, saying that he is now spending the happiest time of his 24 years of life now.
Despite having such a successful 2013 and 2014, Baro is still very humble. Recently he has been casted for SBS drama Gift of God - marked by a question mark on his life graph. He commented that he is still not too sure because there are no results yet, showing a determination to work hard. As well as he has sewn on the first button in his acting career with Reply 1994, we look forward to his bold activities in future.
# Gongchan's life graph: Neat maknae filled with aegyo
Amongst the five of them, Gongchan drew his life graph the most neatly and cutely. The memories of the practice room in his trainee days being flooded due to a flood, the memories of his first birthday spent with the B1A4 hyungs, the memories of his first profile picture shoot. He wrote all of those down, revealing a section of his own personal precious memories. Gongchan had his own slump in his trainee days too - he commented that he was worried about whether what he was doing was right, whether he would really be able to do well, and that he got through it by talking with the hyungs and helping each other out.
Gongchan's life graph neatly includes both B1A4's promotion graph and his own personal activity. He included their debut stage on Music Core, as well as wrote down all the titles of their songs including Beautiful Target, Baby I'm Sorry, Baby Good Night, What's Going On and Lonely. You can see his attentiveness from the way he wrote about their rookie award, their first time competing for first place with Tried To Walk, their first time winning first place with What's Going On, first solo concert, first fanclub inauguration and the Amazing Store concert. Filled with sense to have marked them with stars and hearts! Gongchan is overflowing with the cuteness and aegyo just like a maknae. He recalled the moment when they got their first ever first place, "We were really surprised before we honestly did not expect to be first. Everyone was hugging each other, crying and cheering in the waiting rooms. There were many emotions. When we gathered in the evening, we decided that the award was to encourage us to work even harder."
There were times of hardship for Gongchan who always looks bright. He had to undergo a kidney removal surgery in 2012 and recuperate in his own time. He expressed, "The fans are very worried, but now I am very healthy and strong so please do not worry. Thank you always," setting the fans' minds at ease.
When he spoke about their first solo concert, Gongchan expressed his love for fanclub BANAs. "I want to leave seeing every single fan. Kya~" He continued, "I think it is all thanks to our fans that we can achieve first place. We will work hard even harder so please always love us. Even if we have a dry spell or a break, we will not go into a slump and turn them into days of developing ourselves."
