DAY 12: OMONALYMPICS FFA/STREAMING POST, SOCHI-STYLE~

It's that lovely time again where we all get to cheer on our country's top athletes...as well as our favorite Korean athletes too! This FFA will serve as a place to gather and chat about the games with your fellow Omonazens and there will be a new post every day with updates about medal counts, crazy wins, or heart-crushing losses.

Here is a list of all the athletes for Team Korea competing today!! NGL, the Sochi website is pretty well set up and has been awesome for figuring out times and such for events (especially since you can have the times synced to your timezone~)

as sad as all the retirements are, i'm pretty relieved that yuna's leaving. korean media has been terrible in figure skating.

that said the queens better slaaay. my hopes and dreams:
- yuna, mao, and caro medal
- team japan in the top ~7
- ashley wagner doing better than gracie gold.
- yulia not ridiculously overscored

I got so caught up with tessa and scott today I watched their little tv/reality series of them prepping for this season. Also so sad...they kept talking about this being their last season :'(

South Korea has 4 years to prepare for Pyongchang so that Short Track isnt they only sports that they could get medal from.

So SBS is running this little special on the Sochi athletes and their dating life (lol) and it's so cute ;_;

Two of the Korean speedskaters, Park Sanghee and Lee Hanbin(I think that's the guy's name, they flashed the subtitle way too fast for me lol) are dating ;___; Sanghee said that being able to date and have her bf with her during training makes her a lot more relaxed. That's so fucking cute ;~~~;

Then one of the curlers is married to one of the members of China's Men's curling team.

Lee Sanghwa has a bf who was an ice hockey player, but is currently in the Marines...but he was able to come and support her in Sochi ;; There was rumors about them getting married (and they interviewed her about it) but they're just happily dating atm.
