제 생일을 맞아 많은 분들이 축하해주셨는데요~ 감사합니다.
오늘 엠넷 드라마 ‘미미’의 제작발표회를 하느라 많은 기자님들도 만나 뵙고 했는데
아! 그리고 많은 쌀 화환도 보면서~ 새삼.... 쑥스러운데 진심으로~
나의 생일을 축하해주는 많은 사람들의 사랑 속에 살고 있구나~ 라는
생각이 들더라고요^^ 너무나도 감사합니다~

For my birthday, many people have congratulated me~ Thank you.
Because I attended the production press conference for Mnet drama "MiMi" today, I also met many reporters.
Ah! And while seeing so many rice wreaths~ once again... It's bashful, but from the bottom of my heart~
I thought, "I am living amidst the love from many people who had congratulated me for my birthday ^^ Really thank you~
Because we TVXQ are recently preparing for our follow up song, we are also working hard at practising.
Shortly, we will be going to see everybody after preparing a cool performance which will not lose to that of Something ^^

Mimi press conference
[by Chloe Yun] Max of TVXQ! talked about his high-school days revealing that he didn't have special dating experience back in high school.
Max and other cast members of Mnet’s new show ‘Mi Mi’ attended the press conference held on February 18 at PATIO 9, Seoul.
During the interview, Max said, “Thanks to ‘Mi Mi and Director Song, I could realize my first-love fantasy, which I didn't experienced in high school.”
“I was just a normal, quiet kid with no special talent or skill. I was so shy I didn't have a lot of female friends. I was a good student who studied hard and got engaged in school with a virtuous mindset, but if I can go back in time, I would like to meet many girls,” he continued with his innocent boyish smile.
When asked about kiss scene with Moon Ga Young, Max answered, “I didn't expect we would do a kiss scene this fast. We shot the scene on the second day. It went well, with no NGs.”
In the series Max and co-star Moon Ga Young play a teenage boy and girl who fall in love for the first time in their life. Max’s character ‘Min Woo’ is a boy who can time travel from the past to the present.
Meanwhile, the first episode of ‘Mi Mi’ is set to air on February 21 on Mnet.
Changmin on filming Mimi
Q: thoughts on filming Mimi.
Changmin: The filming started from late autumn last year and continued till February this year. Compared to what I had anticipated, the filming in the cold weather and the filming schedule was sporadic, and my colleague actors and the staff all worked hard. I watched the preview trailer, the scenes came out really prettily. Thank you to the editing staff and the director. I am thinking of wanting to personally watch it on broadcast.
Q: incidents which occurred during filming.
Changmin: In the cold weather, the sprinkler truck came and sprinkled water. It was really much colder than I thought, and at the moments when the water sprayed out, although they were evidently water drops, when I was using the umbrella or when I got sprayed, at the moment when the water hit me, I froze and I got hit by the water like a hailstorm. If you look at that particular scene, although it will be funny with me drenched by the icy water, it was a sad filming episode.
"Mimi" director, Song Chang Soo, "Max Changmin? Someone who has a lot of pain inside of him"
Director: I was really nervous before meeting Max Changmin. The role of Minwoo whom Max Changmin played was a character which needed emphasis on his inner side. Therefore, I had to make a judgment on what kind of person Max Changmin really was. When I first met with Max Changmin, instead of reading (script-reading), we spoke a lot about personal matters instead. We had a conversation for 4 hours and I thought, "So he is someone who carries a lot of pain within his heart". Because the point about him carrying pain is very similar to Minwoo, to be frank, I was happy. Especially for Minwoo, there are many scenes where he has to act out feelings of him crying. Max Changmin finished almost all of those scenes with no NGs. Because we had communicated a lot during the script reading phase, he was able to digest everything with ease.
TVXQ Max Changmin Would Date a Lot If He Could Return to His School Years
Looking back on his past, TVXQ Max Changmin stated that if he could be a student again, he would date a lot.
On February 18, Changmin, Mun Ka Young and other staff participated in the press conference for Mnet’s Mimi in Nonhyun-dong. During the conference, the cast talked about the drama and first love.
When asked what kind of student he was, Changmin replied, “I didn’t particularly stand out. I was a student who didn’t have the ability to get noticed. I was a regular student going from school to academies.”
He added that he was a bit shy and didn’t make a lot of female friends.
“I studied hard and had a very proper school life, but if I could go back, I want to meet as many friends of the opposite sex as possible,” added Changmin, making everyone laugh.
He continued, “I never dated when I was a student, so I was able to experience a very fresh romance through the drama that I wasn’t able to during my school years. It was very satisfying.”
The drama will begin on February 21.
Mun Ka Young and TVXQ’s Max Changmin Shot Kiss Scene Without NGs
TVXQ’s Max Chagmin and Mun Ka Young talked about their kiss scene for the upcoming drama Mimi.
The two stars talked about their experience of filming the drama at the press conference for Mnet’s four-part drama Mimi, held at Patio 9 in Nonhyeon-dong on February 18.
About the kiss scene, Max Changmin said, “I was really happy to experience dating in school, which I was never able to do, thanks to the drama. The scene came out really pretty, and it′s one of my favorite scenes.”
His co-star Mun Ka Young said, “I didn’t know that we’d film the kiss scene so early on in the drama. We shot it a day or two after the first day of filming. I was worried that it’d be awkward, but we got the okay at our first try, without any NGs.”
Meanwhile, Mimi will be airing the first episode on February 21 at 11 pm (KST).
