AOA’s Mina Joins KBS Drama, “Very Good Days” Cast

AOA member Mina has been officially confirmed as one of the cast members for upcoming KBS 2TV drama series, “Very Good Days” or “Good Times.”

On December 28, FNC Entertainment confirmed that Mina would follow-up “Wang’s Family“ with KBS 2TV’s “Very Good Days.” She will play the younger counterpart of Kim Hee Sun’s character, Haewon.

Just a few days ago, actor Choi Won Young and actress Shim Yi Young acknowledge their couple status. Adding another element to the surprise, Choi Won Young revealed he already proposed to his girlfriend and that their parents’ have already met one another.

A representative of Choi Won Young’s agency, Fantagio, commented to Star news, “Choi Won Young proposed to Shim Yi Young with a ring and a hand-written letter. He told us it was a very simple event, and said to her, ‘I want to ride this car with you,’ as he lent her his car.”

The rep also added, “The wedding day has not been decided, but both think it is better to do it sooner than later. Families from both sides have already met.”

The two stars acknowledged their relationship of six months through their agencies. They played a married couple in the MBCweekend drama, “Hundred Year’s Inheritance.”

Good Riddance, Netizens Who Spread Rumors About Hwang Soo Kyung and IU Sentenced and Fined

The bloggers who had been repeatedly spreading false rumors about celebrities have received probation sentences.

On December 27, Judge Ban Jung Mo of the Seoul Central District Court sentenced the blogger who had been indicted for defamation to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation. Also, the judge fined the eight who had had been charged with spreading rumors about celebrities and athletes over mobile messengers, the highest fine being 5,000,000 won (approx. $4,740).

These netizens had spread rumors of KBS announcer Hwang Soo Kyung‘s divorce and singer IU‘s marriage, among other things.

The judge stated, “Through their blogs, mobile messenger, and e-mail, they repeatedly spread false information, and caused serious damages. While the crimes were not light, we considered their admittances of their crimes, their motives, and repentance in the sentencing.”

Meanwhile, the female celebrities that have been hit with rumors of prostitution havehave taken legal action against the netizens who spread the rumors, and the conclusion of that case remains to be seen.

Taemin & Naeun to leave 'We Got Married'

Bittersweet news for all Taemin and Son Na Eun fans.

On December 30, a representative from MBC’s variety program “We Got Married” shared that the two idols are leaving the program.

While talking to Sports Korea, the representative explained, “We’re currently working on the details on their leave. However, nothing has changed for Jung Yoo Mi – Jung Joon Young and Lee So Yeon – Yoon Han couples.”

SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Son Na Eun filmed their first scene for the program in Jeju Island earlier this year in April. They broke many hearts and healed many others through their eight months of cute and adorable relationship.

“We Got Married” airs every Saturday at 5:05pm (KST).
