Lorde gives distinctly a very different feel compared to other teen popstars. In relation to this, she said “Compared to the teen popstars out there, the image and clothes that I like is different. And I think my lyrics are different than any other else. My songs have a lot of different interpretations and there are a lot of parts (in my songs) that the people who listen to it must find. And another thing, I’m vulnerable in dancing! (laughs) I want to try having a dance lesson from Girls Generation”.
She mentioned Girls Generation but she has an eye for K-Pop as well. In fact, on her interview with a British music magazine (NME), she talked about the Korean group and artist she wants to collaborate with. She said “I like Lee Hi and 2NE1 a lot. I sing 1, 2, 3, 4’ a lot. She also added “The reason why I like K-pop is because the melody and their songs are interesting.When I listen to it, I feel like the melody is far more charming than the melody of songs in the Western where I grew up.”

Soompi France had the privilege to interview the band INFINITE during their stay in Paris for their “One Great Step” world tour. The members introduced themselves happily and the interview started in a very relaxed atmosphere.
You were told to ask them questions on our Facebook page. Discover the members’ answers to some of the selected questions.
SOOMPI FRANCE: What is your most beautiful memory since your debut?
HOYA: The most beautiful memory for me is now, because I have wanted to come to Paris for so long. Now that I’m here, as an INFINITE member, I am being interviewed in Paris, I’m taking pictures, getting ready for the concert. I really feel like I’m in a dream. For me it’s my best memory since our debut.
SOOMPI FRANCE: In a span of more than 3 years of your career, you have had your successful stories. What was the greatest one for you?
HOYA: For me, once again it is now. It’s really hard to believe I am on a world tour and above all I'm in France at the moment. South Korea is on the other side of the globe. Our most beautiful reward is to be allowed to meet our European fans and have this world tour.
We’re not yet at the peak of our careers but we will try to keep on rising and enjoy more moments.
SOOMPI FRANCE: What did you do since you arrived in France? Did you visit the capital city, meet the French fans or tried out some French dishes?
HOYA: Yesterday, me, Woohyun, Sungyeol and L went to visit the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs Elysées. We have been very impressed by the Mona Lisa painting.
DONGWOO: Right after my breakfast, I went out to get some fresh air and noticed there were a lot of fans in front of the hotel entrance. I didn't expect to see that crowd and I was glad. It was like the concert has just started. It was a wonderful encounter.
SUNGGYU: I went out to buy orange and apple juice and in front of the hotel I was surprised to see that many fans gave us presents. I have received an amazing gift; a fan gave us a drawing of all the members that she drew herself. France really is the country of the arts. The drawing was more beautiful than us.
L: Yesterday I dreamed. I dreamed that I was walking around hand in hand with a fan. It seemed very real.

Juniel Reveals Her “Boyfriend”

Yesterday, FNC Entertainment singer-songwriter Juniel teased fans with an image of her kissing a unknown male behind a cotton candy fluff, writing she will reveal her “boyfriend’s” face today. Keeping to her word, Juniel has released another image today through her official Twitter account, which shows her and CNBLUE“s Lee Jong Hyun smiling together for the camera. She wrote along with picture, “Revealing my boyfriend. He was actually my boyfriend in the music video.”
Juniel and Lee Jong Hyun have come together for a duet single album with the title song “Love Falls.” The song is composed by Lee Jong Hyun, and the lyrics are written by Juniel. The two talented artists will also be acting in the music video together as young high school students falling in love.
The music video teaser for “Love Falls” will be revealed December 6, and the full MV as well as the album drops December 9. Stay tuned to Soompi for updates!

Just a few weeks ago, Paris Hilton was spotted with BIG BANG’s G-Dragon while enjoying a boxing match in Macau. The American heiress was seen with another big name in K-Pop – Sistar!
On December 4, Sistar’s youngest member Dasom tweeted on the group’s official Twitter account, “We had fun meeting the nice Paris Hilton unnie. She came to meet us and even gave us pretty gifts!! Thank you so much!” along with a photo.
In the photo, Soyu, Dasom, and Hyorin are standing side by side in a friendly pose with Paris Hilton as they smile brightly at the camera. The four ladies displayed their glamorous sense of fashion and striking beauty. The members of Sistar also revealed the gifts they received from Paris Hilton.

Girl's Generation latest Korean hit "I Got a Boy" was chosen as the #5 Song of The Year by TIME Magazine. Here's the quote:

Fancams show INFINITE's managers shouting at rowdy international fans at the airport in a bit of an aggressive/rough manner like "Get out", "I said get out!", "move". Netizens were divided in opinion, with some stating that the managers were giving a bad image to the group and Korea by shouting like that and others stating that the managers probably had no choice but to shout like that for INFINITE's safety.
Apparently, anti-Korean Japanese blogs are also using the fancams as examples of ill Korean behavior, saying, "This is the true image of Koreans. They'll smile brightly at a concert they're paid for but yell at you if you follow them around at the airport because you like them. Hallyu? What a joke."
