GD’s Solo Album in Japan Gains Success, 2nd Place in Oricon Weekly Chart
The solo debut album of GDRAGON, who swept music scenes in and out of the country this year, is placed in the 2nd place on Oricon’s weekly chart, following its daily chart.
GDRAGON’s debut album in Japan “COUP D’ETAT+ ONE OF A KIND & HEARTBREAKER” which was released on the 27 last month is ranked in the 2nd place on Oricon’s weekly album chart for the first week of December, whose rankings were counted during a period from November 25 to December 1. The album has recorded 100,000 sales, which exceeds the first week’s sales record of BIGBANG’s full album “BIGBANG2” released in Japan in 2011, and “ALIVE” released in the country in 2010.
The new album contains tracks of GDRAGON’s second full solo album “COUP D’ETAT” which was released in early September this year,as well as all tracks of “ONE OF A KIND”, a mini album in 2012 and “HEARTBREAKER”, GDRAGON’s solo debut album released in 2009. New Japanese versions of “CROOKED”, “WHO YOU”, and “BLACK” are also included in the album. Notably, 2NE1’s BOM newly took part in the featuring of “BLACK”
GDRAGON held a fan meeting event on the 3 this month at Zepp Namba located in Osaka, Japan, to celebrate the release of his solo debut album in Japan. On December 16 and 17, he will meet fans in the Tokyo region, at Zepp Tokyo. Plus, GDRAGON has recently been holding Japan six dome tour, as a member of BIGBANG. On the 7 and 8 this month, BIGBANG holds concert at Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome.
T.O.P to Release a Special Edition Hard Copy of ‘Doom Dada
T.O.P will be releasing a special edition of his single “Doom Dada”!
The special edition of the single will include not only a CD with “Doom Dada” and its instrumental, but also unreleased MV making videos and a photobook made up of BTS scenes. It’ll also include a file binder for those who order early enough!
The special edition will be released on December 13th..

When I heard about GD's solo package I could only cringe imagining the price but it made sense. Japan being the market it is selling it all together means he can skip all the extra goodies and gain benefit from already accomplished work with no extra exertion.

speaking of seungri, that hair for the ulala promo event was nagl imo. ew. and can we pleaaaase ban him from wearing suit jackets ever again because i am so annoyed with that "pull at the lapels" dance move thing he can only seem to do. fuck him for letting his dancing go to waste. and bleh at his singing in that video. ugh so much hate for my bias~
