Foreigner cast stars in new tvN variety show 'Island Village Teachers'

Cable station tvN premiered a new variety program this week called Island Village Teachers, and it’s noteworthy for featuring entirely foreigners as the main cast, some of whom are probably already familiar to fans of Korean entertainment. Described by some as a mix of travel-reality programs Dad! Where Are We Going? and 1 Night 2 Days, the show places the four members on an island village for a five-day stay, living with locals and teaching grade-school children.

First broadcast in 2008, the show pairs up Korean celebrities to show what life would be like if they were married. Each week, couples are assigned missions to complete, with candid interviews of the participants to reveal their thoughts and feelings.

The current couples are SHINee's Taemin and APink's Naeun, Lee Soyeon and Yoon Han, Jung Yoomi and Jung Joonyoung.

Eunjung shocks fans with new White hairstyle for T-ara's comeback

On November 25th, Core Contents Media unveiled the second set of teaser images which revealed Eunjung’s strikingly white hair. She was styled in a minimal, trendy concept, creating a mysterious vibe.

The agency continues to surprise fans with comeback images of the group. It was detailed that the track was produced by Shinsadong Tiger in collaboration with Polar Bear, while its music video was filmed in the form a of a musical. It's been said that although the concept is retro, it will not be the same type of retro they showed to fans with "Roly Poly" in 2011.

With the release of other teaser images in the next few days, T-ara is set to treat their fans with a new release on December 2nd.

Shun the non-believers: NJ Police Confirmed to Have Ailee’s Lingerie Scam Report

Despite everyone’s doubts due to such an elaborate story, it turns out that YMC Entertainment was telling the truth about Ailee’s situation in 2009.

On November 23, a Korean-American news outlet reported that Ailee did in fact request a formal investigation after getting scammed in 2009 to the Palisades Park Police in New Jersey.

The police report included Ailee’s name, current address at the time, and birthday.

According to the police report, Ailee was chatting with a friend on Facebook at around 3-6 AM on August 7, 2009. When her friend recommended that Ailee send 50 nude photos to a third party, Ailee complied. She later found out someone had hacked into her friend’s Facebook account.

YMC Entertainment also stated, “Ailee did report the lingerie scam to the police in 2009. We have records of the investigation and confirmation. We are currently working with a lawyer in the US to take legal action.”

Meanwhile, Ailee participated in the We Are One – We Are Companions concert on November 24, which celebrated people from Indonesia currently working in Korea. She received a Minister’s Award from the vice-minister from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
