GI (Global Icon) are ready to take on bigger things in their career with their 1st mini album 'Tremendous'!

The mini album consists of their pre-released track "Because of You", "Don't Lie" which features the rap styling of DOK2, their debut song "Beatles", as well as other feel-good songs. Their title track is cleverly titled "ㄱ" which is pronounced as "Gi". Reportedly, their music video for "Gi" will show a more upgraded look from their previous tomboy image.

Speaking about ideal girls, B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk revealed that he likes a girl who has etiquette.

On the September 2 broadcast of Mnet’s The Beatles Code, Bang Yong Guk went into detail on the type of girl he likes.

“I like a girl who follows public etiquette,” said Bang Yong Guk. “I happened to see a girl picking up trash on the street and found that image very beautiful, so I think that kind of girl has become my ideal type.”

When it comes to picking a celebrity as his ideal type, he chose Tang Wei. “She’s beautiful, but she also does a lot of charity work.”

Bang Yong Guk also revealed that he’s dated twice in his life. Both relationships didn’t end as happy memories.

Big Bang's Seungri, who recently made his comeback with "Gotta Talk to You", had some things to say about his hoobae group EXO.

On the latest MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Song of Hope at Noon', Seungri brought up EXO. He said, "I shared a waiting room with EXO once, and they were all catnapping. They're probably busy these days, and I wondered if they were sleeping and eating well. I wanted to at least cover them with a blanket."

Seungri continued, "It's been 8 years since I've debuted. The EXO members are quite young and handsome. It makes me wonder if our sunbaes thought the same of us when they first saw us."

She posted on her fan cafe 'Hyori Together', "I thought everyone would be curious, so I thought I'd greet you. Our friends suffered a few days because we prepared everything ourselves, but that made it an even more meaningful and joyful day."

EXO Achieves Major Feat with 740,000 Albums Sold

With more than 740,000 copies of its first album, XOXO (Kiss&Hug), EXO let its new birth as the album king be known.

As of September 3, EXO has sold 424,260 copies of its first album, released on June 3, as well as 312,899 of its repackaged album, released on August 5, bringing the total to 737,159 copies sold. With more than 700,000 copies sold in just three months, EXO proved that it is the hottest act of current times.

EXO’s 700,000 albums sold marks the first time in 12 years that such a number was recorded with Kim Gun Mo’s seventh album selling 1,390,000 copies and Jo Sung Mo’s fourth album selling 960,000 copies in 2001. With illegal downloading and the beginning of online music purchases in 2005, EXO’s first album records are becoming even more meaningful.

The album also brought a lot of attention with 300,000 pre-orders as well as ranking number one in Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia following its release, showing the interest global fans have in the group.

In addition, EXO has been doing particularly well, receiving a triple crown on SBS’ Inkigayo, along with several wins on KBS’ Music Bank, MBC’s Music Core, Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN and more.

Meanwhile, EXO will be releasing the continuation of its drama version music video on September 4.

It has been revealed that SM Entertainment has acquired shares of the wig company 'Hair Couture'.

'Hair Couture' was founded by announcer-turned-businessman Kim Min Suk in 2008, and was involved with the release of official Girls' Generation hair fashion items this past July.

According to an agency representative, their investment in this hair wig business is part of their 'blue ocean strategy', which in the world of marketing refers to creating consumer value in an uncontested market space. So rather than going after the usual fashion and cosmetics market, they plan to target women who want to look like Girls' Generation by putting emphasis on hair fashion items and wigs.
