[NEWS] 130904 VIXX’s Leo, ‘IAC’ injury photographed, limping in cast and crutches
VIXX’s Leo has been photographed in a cast after being injured at the ‘Idol Athletics Competition’.
A photo of Leo walking in a cast after being injured during the filming of MBC’s Chuseok Special of Idol Athletics Competition (IAC) was uploaded to an an online community on September 4th.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, the futsal game took place in the Goyang Stadium of the Goyang Gymnasium in Ilsan, and Leo set out as the captain of his team in the preliminary game. As a former representative of the national youth football team, Leo was in charge of being captain for his team and shot the first goal and gave an exceptional performance, but due to a tackle he suffered an injury and stopped playing.
Even after being inured, Leo withstood the pain as he didn’t give up and stayed at the game until the end. With Leo’s exceptional skill, his team scored 3 to 0, but the aftermath of his injury caused the team to regrettably suffer a reversal in the end. After the game was over, Leo received treatment in the emergency room.
In the picture above, Leo’s leg is in a cast and he is seen supporting himself with crutches while having difficulty walking. Fellow member Hongbin, who also participated in the IAC, is worriedly watching over Leo.
With his sudden injury and being put in a cast, Leo’s personal schedule [OP Note: Dream Team recording] was cancelled and fellow member Ravi filled the vacancy instead. In VIXX’s last performances of ‘G.R.8.U’, Leo will not be dancing and will be carrying out his parts sitting in a chair offstage.
Meanwhile VIXX has received popularity through their song ‘G.R.8.U’. When their last performances end this week, they will receive vacation and have overseas activities, as well as plans to start working on a new album.

I'm glad they're getting a vacation before The Milky Way, here's to hoping they get to have a decent amount of rest, especially Leo. Also, three goals?! Dang, son.

I tried to get over it and say it was what it was, but how does he injure his finger and stay away from the stage the entire promotion cycle!?! Leo injures a leg and immediately his company gets him a chair. Shinee, Super Junior, DBSK- they all got chairs! Himchan didn't even injure his legs. I refuse to believe his finger is why he wasn't part of the promotions. Either he pissed off management, had a mental breakdown, or had personal/family issues, OR his injury was worse than indicated/elsewhere on his body. I dunno, but he didn't hurt his finger. T__T

A lot of people were saying Yongguk had a cast during Power and still performed, but maybe HImchan couldn't get a cast so he had to be extra careful to not disturb his hand? idk and he did say that he had to rest at home for some time before moving back to the dorm so maybe TS was like "fine instead of figuring out how to put you in the choreo, just stay at home and rest"?
It's sad that we question companies' motives when they let an idol rest sigh
