Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, and Bizzy have come together to form the project group MFBTY.

MFBTY stands for ‘My Fans Better Than Yours‘. The team will officially debut at the B2B showcase ‘2013 K-Pop Night Out MIDEM 2013‘ on the 27th that is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism along with KOCCA. They will be releasing their new song “Sweet Dream” on the 21st and earlier today a teaser was revealed on YouTube.

Label Jungle Entertainment said, “MFBTY will be an adventurous hip hop group that will try some experimental change in all parts including music, performance, and visual. You’ll see the strongest music synergy made from the three artists whom need no introduction.”

Minho's interview from the High Cut shoot

Inside the studio flowing with chilly winter air, it seemed like a protective shield of spring was made around just these three people. Could biological siblings even be this friendly? The stars of the 94th issue are SHINee's Minho and f(x)'s Sulli and Krystal who were chosen as the "flower beauty" of idols. The question of “Will they actually be friendly in real life?" was answered as soon as Minho arrived at the shooting site.

For anyone that is interested: Tia, Mel and Julie confirmed in a live fanchat via cam yesterday that Jaeyoon no longer is part of Chocolat, and that she never was sick but had issues with the company. I cant post it though since Paramount Music dont allow them to do blogtv and it might get them into trouble if they come across the vid. She also confirmed that there are MANY more biracial idols in the ent companies, but that its keept a secret. So fucking sad :( Tia LOVES BAP and is in love with BAPs Daehyun (mels words! tia almost died lol) and she talked about him maybe over ten times. Babyz beware! She also said that she ships Melanie with Teen Tops L.Joe and Juliane with Baps Yonguk. It was very surreal to watch k-idols behave like normal people! They talked for two hours and it was the best two hours ever ;^;

During the recent filming of KBS‘s new variety show ‘Moonlight Prince‘, TVXQ‘s Changmin shocked everyone on set with quite a personal story from his past!

During the filming, Lee Seo Jin featured as a guest and the topic of discussion was, ‘Puberty and Deviation’, to correspond to the theme of the book he had read. With him opening up about his own struggle with puberty, the other MCs also shared their own experiences growing up.

Changmin was particularly frank as he confessed, “When I was in middle school, I secretly watched porn while my parents weren’t around”, raising the curiosity of the fellow male MCs who hilariously tried to dig up more information about whether he was caught and what his parents might have said to him.

‘Moonlight Prince’ currently boasts a MC line up of Changmin, Brave Brother[s], Jung Jae Hyung, ~~and~~ Tak Jae Hoon, and Kang Ho Dong. Catch the full story on the premiere of ‘Moonlight Prince’ on January 22nd at 11:10 PM KST!

A netizen put up a post trying to dissect KEPA and the people behind them and found some interesting things worth mentioning

The distributor for Infinity Challenge's digital songs is KT Music, which is a part of KMP Holdings (comprised of SM, YG, JYP, etc). KT Music is well known for being th competitor to Melon held by Loen Entertainment).

KEPA has a number of notable figures on their staff list, including:

I can see where they're coming from but then these companies take actor jobs so yeah, glass houses and all. To anyone wondering what the whole KEPA business is can read it here. They're also the same organisation that went after JYJ, Hangeng and threatened to destroy Kara's career after their contract problems.

Following their settlement with SM Entertainment last year, JYJ seems to have rid themselves of another lawsuit by claiming victory against their former Japanese management, Avex.

C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the news by commenting, “During the trial in Japan on the 18th, it was ruled that Avex cannot interfere with the Japanese promotional activities of JYJ.”

They added, “Once the exact decision documents arrive, we will send out a press release.”

The group has been battling Avex since 2011 on the basis of interfering with the group’s attempt to put on a charity concert for the Tohoku earthquake.

With this ruling, it seems that JYJ may be able to start promoting in Japan again.

2NE1‘s Dara has become the new face of cosmetics brand ‘Clio‘.

Her contract with Etude House recently expired and Sulli along with Krystal of f(x) had taken her place. While fans were disappointed that they wouldn’t get to see Dara for the cute makeup brand anymore, it seems like they’ll be able to see her endorsing for Clio instead.

CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun took his cute revenge on SHINee‘s Jonghyun.

Back in May, SHINee’s Jonghyun had pranked CNBLUE’s Jonghyun by gift him with a fake Diablo III. Completely unsuspecting, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun had opened up the disguised box to only find a box of chocolates. SHINee’s Jonghyun had however, later tweeted that he had later actually gotten CNBLUE’s Jonghyun an actual copy online for his birthday.

[Interview] Yang Hyun-suk, CEO of YG Entertainment - Part. 2

Q To satisfy both the public and die-hard fans, don’t you have to control the artists’ output? Isn’t that the way to get support from the mainstream and stay creative at the same time?
Yang: I think I am qualified enough to make comments to my artists about dancing because I trained as a dancer. After Seo Taiji and Boys disbanded, I studied harmony and midi for six months and that’s how I came to compose Jinusean’s “Gasoline”. I soon realized, though, that I’m not so gifted in writing music, so I decided to stop doing that. I’m knowledgeable enough about it to have discussions with my artists thanks to the experience. I can coach them about performing on the stage as I have a lot of experience from my days of Seo Taiji and Boys.

It is true that I dropped many other things, but I could never give up communicating with artists and creating music itself. On top of those, I’m very hands-on about the entire process of managing trainee artists. It’s not just what I love doing, but I know I can do it better than anyone else.
