Dara becomes the new face of cosmetics brand ‘CLIO’

2NE1‘s Dara has become the new face of cosmetics brand ‘Clio‘.

Her contract with Etude House recently expired and Sulli along with Krystal of f(x) had taken her place. While fans were disappointed that they wouldn’t get to see Dara for the cute makeup brand anymore, it seems like they’ll be able to see her endorsing for Clio instead.

The cosmetic brand actively searched for a new model to be the face of the brand as Clio’s contract with Lee Hyori had ended last year and she chose not to renew her contract. Clio has a more mature image than the cute one at Etude House, and the photo that’s shown seems to emphasize that fact. The blurb also says, “she took off her bright girlish image for a more mature womanly image“.

Dara herself responded to a fan who asked her on Twitter if the concept will be a sexy style,

clio's kill black brush liner is my 2nd most favourite eyeliner (1st would be dollywink's liquid eyeliner, mostly because it dries matte). seriously you guys, it stays on all day, no primer needed.
