Gossip!: Three female celebrities under investigation for propofol abuse

Three female celebrities who have been allegedly using propofol illegally are being investigated by the police.

On January 10th, TV Chosun reported, “The prosecutors have uncovered a situation where female celebrities are receiving propofol injections illegally at plastic surgery hospitals in Seoul, Gangnam. The prosecutors have issued a search and seize warrant at the hospitals, and the celebrities will be summoned soon. The celebrities under suspicion have the initials of L, H, and C. Reportedly, they visit the hospitals quite often. The prosecutors believe that the celebrities have pretended as if they were getting plastic surgery, and have instead received propofol injections without a prescription.” A total of six hospitals are reported to have been searched.

“My Korean friend visit me yesterday and we were talking a lot about Kpop. She found it pretty shocking that I’m so into Kpop because the last time we met (like 4 years ago), I was always listening to either RHCP or Eminem She was working as a make up artist and a wardrobe assistant for 6 years (until last July) and shared some insight view of the industry (we were talking until 4 in the morning. I’m drinking my 2nd cup of coffee now in office). At first I was reluctant to make this thread because I know some of you may react badly. But I really, really, really want to share the stories here. You don’t need to believe it. It’s fine because I also won’t be able to provide any proof of her story. Most of the stories are old stories that already here (mostly in My Korean Celeb Secrets thread. That immortal thread ) because I want to hear her view about it. So here they are:

“Before it goes any further, I just want to remind you all that this is purely based on my friend’s opinion and perspective. I won’t say it will be 100% right or accurate or objective (because she also dislike or being biased towards some idols). She’s also not active working anymore since this March (“I’m going to married, why should I bother working hard again?” LOL. I envy her) I just think an inside perspective will be interesting to shared Again, you don’t have to believe all of the stories here. I won’t even bother trying to convince you all.”

B.A.P releases a screen capture of Zelo & teaser for 'Sound of Rain' MV

It’s been announced that B.A.P will be back to tease fans with a music video teaser for their pre-release track “Sound of Rain“ later today. Along with the exciting news is another capture from the MV filming featuring maknae Zelo this time!

Despite the upcoming song being only a pre-release off their upcoming mini album, it’s said TS Entertainment has invested quite a bit into the music video for the track to bring in ambulance trucks and high speed cameras with 2,000 frames per second to capture the smallest details.

The boys have worked with director Hong Won Ki of Johnny Bros, who has directed many hit K-pop music videos, to showcase their latest project.

So check out Zelo’s screen capture and stay tuned for the release of the MV teaser for “Sound of Rain” at 12 PM KST today!

lol CCM: 17 seconds of SPEED’s MV for It’s Over 'accidentally' leaked

SPEED‘s upcoming MV for new track, “It’s Over“, suffered an accidental leak and 17 seconds of the video was unveiled prior to its scheduled release.

Core Contents Media stated on the 11th, “SPEED’s title track “It’s Over” music video’s 17 sec. compilation was accidentally leaked by the mistake of the homepage administrator.”

The leaked footage is said to contain a bit of the choreography and song, but as it is only 17 seconds, the full track nor the dance has been completely revealed, much to the relief of the agency.

A rep stated, “We will make sure that part 2 of the ‘Sad Promise‘ MV, which is currently receiving attention for its portrayal of the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement, will not undergo this same error and are carefully editing the production in a secure place.”

The full MV for SPEED’s “It’s Over”, the part 2 to “Sad Promise”, will be released on the 15th!

Rookie Idol Band "Iconize" Unveils Members Through Photos

Rookie idol band Iconize is getting to make their debut in the tough world of Kpop, and recently unveiled some group and individual photos to introduce themselves to the public.

The group features lead guitarist Kim Hyun, guitarist Jung Young Bin, drummer Jung Hoon, bass guitarist Cha Bum Jin, and vocalist Lee Du Ryeot. All of the members are still currently in high school and their average age is 18.


It has been revealed that Go Suk Young, producer of rock band Buzz, discovered the group and complimented them stating, “I’ve received five treasures all at once”, further increasing the anticipation for their debut.

Former Girls’ Generation trainee Lee Hwan Hee (Fwaney) to have a comeback + MV Teaser

Former Girls’ Generation trainee Lee Hwan Hee (Fwaney) will be making a comeback with a sexy dance song.

A still cut from her music video was released through her label Worthy Entertainment. She expressed that she was going to throw out the tag of ‘Seohyun’s best friend‘, ‘The 10th Girls’ Generation member‘, and ‘SM trainee‘ and make a debut as a solo rookie singer.

Her title song “Monroe’s Heel” is produced by Kim Gun Woo, and is based on the story that Marilyn Monroe cut off 0.6cm on one of her heels to have a more sexy appearance. The guitar and synthesizer sound on top of the stylish beat provides a unique melody.

The music video was filmed by Park Byung Hwan, who filmed her first music video for “Secret” last year. During promotions for “Secret”, she expressed the innocence of a young girl. However, for this performance she will be showing off a strong performance with a sexier image.

Her label said, “A teaser video for her music video will be released on the 11th. On the 15th, she will have a showcase at BE.HIVE.”

Who Sang It Better?: Sunny Day Edition

Round 3 is here! Recently, on Immortal Song 2, Infinite's Sung Gyu and Woo Hyun performed the same song Luna did back in October! The Infinite boys performed a more upbeat rockish version of the song while Luna's was more of a inspirational pop song. Both had some special elements to their performance as well. Sung Gyu and Woo Hyun did a short dance break, while Luna used sign language to share the lyrics with the hearing impaired. Who had the better performance Omona? Vocals, stage presence, choreography, outfits, instrumentals, etc are all a factor so comment with your opinions after you vote below :)!

SISTAR Cries Because of Cold Reaction from Students.

In a strange turn of events, the SISTAR members ended up crying because of the cold reaction from an audience. Recently, SISTAR appeared on a special episode of Mnet’s “School of Rock – The Energy Strikes Back.” The show has singers visiting middle to high school students and holding surprise performances for them.

On this day, Hyorin, Soyou, Bora, and Dasom went to a high school located in Suwon. Once there, the SISTAR members made their surprise appearance. But, despite the fact that it was SISTAR all of the students didn’t show a response and this caused the SISTAR members to be shocked. They ended up crying.

This episode will broadcast on January 16. The highlights of the show will be made available through YouTube.
