Three female celebrities who have been allegedly using propofol illegally are being investigated by the police.

On January 10th, TV Chosun reported, “The prosecutors have uncovered a situation where female celebrities are receiving propofol injections illegally at plastic surgery hospitals in Seoul, Gangnam. The prosecutors have issued a search and seize warrant at the hospitals, and the celebrities will be summoned soon. The celebrities under suspicion have the initials of L, H, and C. Reportedly, they visit the hospitals quite often. The prosecutors believe that the celebrities have pretended as if they were getting plastic surgery, and have instead received propofol injections without a prescription.” A total of six hospitals are reported to have been searched.

It can reek havoc on your lungs. I remember when my dad got his colonoscopy done they used it on him and he almost didn't wakeup. They sent me and mom in to try and wake him and he eventually did after about almost an hour. So I hope all of them are in good health lung wise while they're taking it.

As much as it's interesting to find out who were they I think the hospitals should be more investigated, aka be of higher priority. and catch those doctors who run a drug business on the side.

I don't understand why would they go there to get injected tbh. seems like a lot of effort and it's risky. unless of course they're addicted to it somehow.

Not sure, but wikipedia says it's very risky to self-administer. Apparently it's a potent drug with a high dose-response rate - and at higher doses, used in lethal injections - so you need to be monitored to take it safely.
