Song Joong Ki revealed what he thought was the most important factor when choosing his projects.

On ‘Entertainment Relay‘s December 15th episode, Song Joong Ki said, “On ‘Nice Guy‘, I experienced the happiness of working with great people. ‘Wolf Boy‘ let me go back to the beginning.”

When asked which was the most important among pay, the other actor, character, and the wishes of his fans, he said, “No matter what, the pay would be the least important. I’m going to look at the character, and then the other actor. But the wishes of my fans are important, too..“.

In the end, he concluded, “Just trust me“, causing viewers to laugh.

Kim Jong Kook spotted lecturing KAIST University students + Calls Ji Hyo

Singer Kim Jong Kook was recently spotted making a special appearance at the prestigious KAIST University to give a lecture.

Photos of the singer speaking at KAIST’s special lecture event on the 13th were uploaded online and show him looking professional in his all black suit. It was later revealed that Kim Jong Kook gave a lecture entitled, “Self maintenance and goal setting strategies, and networking know-hows”, and gave advice from his own passion for personal health and successful career, as well as took the time to answer the students’ questions.

Netizens commented, “I’m jealous of the KAIST students”, “If I had a class like that, I would attend it everyday”, and “He looks handsome while lecturing.”

New Police Guideline Makes it Easier for the Fuzz to Search Homes

A new police guideline will give police officers more leeway in entering and searching houses as part of efforts to better pre-empt serious crimes, police said Sunday.

The guideline on emergency house searches permits police officers to defy a resident’s refusal and enter the house in case a murder or serious violence is suspected to be happening in the house, according to the police.

The guideline also allows police officers to search houses even without a court-issued search warrant in case the officers find evidence of crime or a crime in progress there.

The National Police Agency has recently handed out the guideline to police stations across the country and begun to implement it, according to the police.

Previously, refusals by residents prohibited police officers from entering and searching their houses despite suspicions of criminal activity.

Police are guided to resort to forcibly entering and searching a house if a serious crime, such as robbery, rape or murder, is suspected, the suspect is carrying a firearm or serious human damage is expected, according to the new guideline.

The police also said before searching houses under the new guideline, officers are required to present their identification to residents and give an explanation to them before using force in order to minimize possible privacy or human rights invasions.

“The guideline has been drawn up and handed out because the police determined that the right (to enter and search houses) was necessary to protect citizens’ lives and properties from increasingly serious crimes,” an official at the National Police Agency said.

New Inkigayo Hosts Lee Hyun Woo and ZE:A’s Kwanghee Perform “High High”

With actor Lee Hyun Woo and ZE:A’s Kwanghee joining IU as set hosts for Inkigayo this week, the two decided to put on a special welcome performance of GD&TOP‘s “High High.”

While their vocals are certainly different from the original track, the two have a lot of fun with the song and stay close to the original choreography.

Previously, actor Lee Jong Suk completed his Inkigayo hosting duties two weeks ago.

CN Blue to make a comeback next January

Boy band CNBLUE has announced that they will be making their long-awaited return to the Korean music scene with a new release on January 14th.

With the members having focused on individual activities, acting, and Japanese promotions for the majority of 2012, a Korean comeback is welcome news to their fans, who had long been pining for the band to get back together.

The announcement was made during the group’s ‘BLUE NIGHT‘ concert in Seoul, held over the past few days and drawing in over 8,000 fans.

January is looking to be jam-packed with major comebacks, from 2PM to Girls’ Generation and now CNBLUE.
