‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ to begin airing in Japan in December

jTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘ is heading to Japan!

‘Shinhwa Broadcast’, the TV program created by the legendary idol group Shinhwa, will begin airing in Japan this December via cable channel Mnet Japan.

The program has been receiving much love and support from fans not only in Korea, but overseas in Japan and China as they tune into the program live every week.

The six members of Shinhwa reunited earlier this year and released their much anticipated 10th album titled ‘The Return‘. The group then created their own TV program ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’, which began airing in April.

Meanwhile, Shinhwa’s Minwoo will be holding a solo concert, ‘M Lee Min Woo Christmas Live Concert‘, at Seoul’s Yonsei Univesity on December 23rd and 24th.

Son Dam Bi has released a teaser photo for ‘Dripping Tears’.

The singer has shown a unique and powerful performance as a performer, and she will finally be having a comeback after 2 years with her 4th mini album, ‘Dripping Tears’. In the released teaser photo, the beautiful singer shows off her perfect legs and slim body with a black see-through shirt while looking at the camera with a sexy gaze.

Many fans were curious about her album concept and album when they saw her teaser photo, commenting, “It’s the comeback of a Goddess“, “I’m looking forward to humming along to her song“, and “I’m so jealous of her great body“.

Pledis Entertainment stated to allkpop, “Because it’s her long awaited comeback after 2 years, we tried hard to make the best product possible by constantly working and tinkering over and over. Please look forward to Son Dam Bi’s sexy beauty and performance that has been upgraded through 2 years of practice.”

The release date for her 4th mini album is scheduled for November 12th and after a series of delays, Son Dam Bi is said to be eager to greet her fans with her comeback. Ahead of the release date, Son Dam Bi will be releasing various teaser videos.

"Block B will perform with British pop star Alexandra Burke.

Block B will be performing at the “2012 H-Artistry” concert in Malaysia on November 3. It has been reported that Block B and Alexandra Burke will be giving a collaboration performance.

Alexandra Burke is a British sensation, who was the final winner of “The X Factor” season 5 in 2008. Block B is also receiving much love from fans for their strong and charismatic hip-hop music.

Furthermore, Block B’s first official album “BLOCKBUSTER” has reached the #10 spot on Billboard’s World Album Chart without any special promotions.

The “2012 H-Artistry” concert will also be held in other places such as New York, Johannesburg and Taipei. Famous musicians such as Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, Fatman Scoop, Kardinal Offishall and Chris Willis will be performing as well."

Kim Jong Kook releases “Men Are All Like That” MV + ‘Journey Home’ album

Following a pre-release of selected songs from his new album, Kim Jong Kook has released his 7th full length album ‘Journey Home‘ after a long hiatus.

As mentioned previously, his fellow ‘Running Man‘ members HaHa and Gary also participated in the album to support the singer’s return to the music scene as well as actor Song Joong Ki, who starred in the newly revealed music video for the track “Men Are All Like That“.

Lee Hi to release album in December or January

Lee Hi will be releasing her solo album soon.

YG Entertainmnent recently made a statement saying, “Lee Hi’s first offline solo album will be released at the earliest in December and at the latest in January of next year. A lot of songs will be included on her first album, and we’re still working on it. It will have a strong soul sound to it, but we haven’t decided if it will be a mini album or a full length album.”

Lee Hi’s single “1, 2, 3, 4” has hit big on the music charts, and has stayed at the top spot on the various music charts ever since its release. Her large success has many people anticipating a physical album, so the announcement has brought excitement to the fans.

D-Unit has released the first video teaser for “Luv Me” featuring member Ujin.

The trio debuted this past August with their debut album ‘Welcome to Business‘ and its title track “I’m Missin’ You“.

Agency D-Business Entertainment previously explained, “We put a lot of focus on their style for this new album by trying out outfits that would normally be worn by male idols as well as the incorporation of tattoos.”

D-Unit’s new ‘Luv Me’ single will be released on the 7th.

Check out the videos from the popular Youtube makeup artist Michelle Phan if you want to learn the makeup styles of TVXQ (DBSK) and Girls′ Generation (SNSD).

Michelle Phan is the video makeup artist of French cosmetic brand Lancome, and is popular on Youtube for her self-makeup videos. She even made an appearance in ABC′s news program Nightline in America.

On October 22, Michelle Phan introduced ways to transform into K-Pop stars for Halloween Day, with her biggest examples being TVXQ and SNSD. The video has gathered about 1.1 million views.

For TVXQ, she made up a male model in TVXQ′s style and had him dance to Catch Me, while for SNSD, she dressed herself up like the girls in their makeup and fashion. She then aired the music videos for The Boys, Mr. Taxi and Catch Me, proving the great attention the songs have been gathering.

TVXQ and SNSD next plan to perform in the SMTown Live World Tour III, which will be held in Singapore on November 23 and in Bangkok on November 25.

Lee Joon being considered for main role in movie ‘An Actor is an Actor’

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon is being considered for a new film ‘An Actor is an Actor‘.

He has reportedly been cast as the main character of ‘An Actor is an Actor’, produced by Kim Ki Duk and directed by Shin Yeon Sik. Kim Ki Duk has gained many praises and awards from his most recent ‘Pieta‘, so his next work is highly anticipated as well.

The movie tells the story of an actor whose popularity rises all of a sudden, but drops all the way to the bottom again. Lee Joon, who is currently confirmed for upcoming drama ‘Iris 2‘, has previous experiences with acting, so the director’s choice is not a surprising one.

However, J.Tune Camp said, “There is nothing confirmed yet,” so it remains to be seen whether the idol will be taking on the movie.

He posted to Twitter, “Together with IU~~~~ Yesterday! haha,” and attached a photo of himself with the young singer. Actor Kwon Oh Joong can also be seen in the back, craning his neck to get into the picture. The three ‘red team’ members were on the set of ‘God of Victory‘.

Solbi reveals how she proved it wasn’t her in alleged sex tape

Solbi revealed the measures she took to prove that the female in the alleged sex tape that surfaced last year was not her.

On the October 31st broadcast of MBC‘s ’Radio Star‘, she shared, “After watching the video, I wondered if I needed to deny that it was me. I thought that if I revealed myself then those who made the video would be in a tough spot, but after two years passed, it spread like wildfire on SNS sites. I knew it was serious then, so I sued them,” revealing what she went through.

She continued, “The first person to spread this lives abroad so we cannot catch them. The police asked me if I could take photos to confirm whether or not the video was authentic. They said it was because punishment for the crime is different based on if I really am the person in the video or if it was all made up. They said that I could be lying, so they had to make sure. I said I would do so if the penalty is different.”

“I went to the forensics department and took pictures of my body, such as my belly button. After it was finished, I got in my car, and tears started falling. I was sad and embarrassed, but I also think I grew more mature from the experience.“

2AM’s Seulong undergoes surgery for foot fractures

2AM‘s Seulong has undergone surgery for fractures in his foot.

Big Hit Entertainment stated that on October 31, Seulong fractured the top of his left foot and a toe while doing weightlifting exercises. The agency announced, “After receiving an examination at the hospital, he underwent surgery today. As it looks like recovery will take 2-3 weeks, we’ll decide on Seulong’s promotional activities after his surgery.”

2AM is currently preparing for a concert in Tokyo on November 2. Seulong commented, “I’ll go on stage even if I have to be in a wheelchair.” However, the hospital and agency have stated he’ll be resting until recovery.

Big Bang‘s Seungri is receiving the limelight as a variety rookie in Japan.

In the midst of Big Bang&rsquo;s world tour preparations, Seungri has been appearing on several variety programs in Japan. He has been working alongside top Japanese comedians and is receiving a lot of love for it.

Broadcast sources are praising Seungri for his energetic image and diligent work ethics. They say that Seungri has the ability to quickly analyze the fast trends of Japan so there were little to no problems in adjusting.

Psy’s follow up song to “Gangnam Style” postponed

Psy‘s original plan to release his follow up song to “Gangnam Style” has been postponed.

Originally, Psy had planned to release his new half in Korean and half in English song on November 20th. However, it was reported to be postponed and YG Entertainment‘s Yang Hyun Suk added, “I listened to Psy’s new American single, and it sounded very good. Of course, it’s just my personal opinion, but I think it’ll come close to “Gangnam Style”.”

He also said, “He had hinted that his new album would be released in mid-November, but we’re adjusting the release date because of the continued popularity of “Gangnam Style”. We’re planning to get more from “Gangnam Style” and look over the results. It won’t be too much of a delay to release the new album in early next year.”

On the mixture of Korean and English in Psy’s new song, Yang Hyun Suk added, “We’re also looking over the ratio of Korean to English in his new song. We’re going to release something that will be the most beneficial to Psy after carefully monitoring what’s going on.”

Boyfriend’s Youngmin & Kwangmin tease fans with photos from the set of their new music video

Having already unveiled several concept photos for their comeback, Boyfriend‘s twins Youngmin and Kwangmin are here to tease fans further with photos from the set of their new music video!

The photos were revealed by Starship Entertainment on November 2nd and are reported to have been taken on the filming location for the group’s upcoming music video.

As mentioned previously, the concept this time around is centered around the ‘Janus‘, a god of roman mythology. In accordance with the concept, the twins take on the two different sides of ‘Janus’ as one is dressed in white while the other one stands in a black outfit.

Starship Entertainment revealed to allkpop some details regarding the upcoming song stating that“Boyfriend’s new song ‘Janus’ depicts the emotions of a man who puts a smile on in front of his lover to let her go, but feels tormented on the inside. Korea’s greatest producer Sweetune has once again put their efforts into the project, so it’ll be one to anticipate.”

Boyfriend will be making their comeback on November 8th, so make sure you stay tuned for updates!

Super Junior gets TWO Number One's on the Japanese Oricon DVD Charts

Super Junior’s concert DVD “Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4 Live in Japan” ranks at the first place on two Japanese Oricon DVD Charts!

The charts updated in early November and showed Super Junior at the first place on daily music DVD chart and daily compilation DVD chart. The DVD sat at the first rank on the same day of its release. The date of the DVD release was on October 31. The DVD consists of the group’s latest performance in Osaka Kyocera Dome concert held in May.

This pleasing news will make Super Junior happy especially since the leader of the group, Lee Teuk, is currently off site. Meanwhile, the group refused to set a temporary leader until Lee Teuk comes back, “Our leader will always be Lee Teuk and no one can replace him. We will do our best until he comes back.”

I really feel this is a positive start for Super Junior on their temporary road without Leeteuk! He might not be everyone's favourite member but he was a leader. It's good to see that they are still alive and kicking even with the fewer members and they will definitely strive on!

Yesterday, INFINITE‘s official website posted a vague message with the words “Solo Invasion“. Now, the INFINITE website has been updated with another hard to decipher image.

Although the image above is a bit hard to decipher, it seems it says: “Kim Sunggyu Another Me“. Take that for whatever you will, but it seems the message is implying that member Sunggyu will be having a solo debut of some sorts. This coming off the heels of the news that Dongwoo and Hoya will be promoting as a INFINITE-H.
