I thought the same thing. This totally sounds like C-pop style.

JYP should really try to break China.

I agree. There's definitely a market ready for them. I wonder if the companies are going to switch focus onto China because of the tension with Japan.

Date: 2012-11-02 04:09 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] glenda-ices.livejournal.com
Nah, SM is not going to send TVXQ, SNSD or SHINee to China when they're doing so well Japan. There's more $$ there and they already have SJ-M and EXO-M. And there's no way I see YG sending his artists to China.

Not sure about smaller companies. But you have groups like B1A4, INFINITE, 2PM (even U-Kiss) etc who are doing alright in Japan, why would they go elsewhere?

Well Chinese fan bases seem very loyal so they could do worse. And they do have two Chinese members.

like what the top yt comment said, they should've changed jinjja to zhende (真的) which means really? and it would've fit and since they changed jeongmal it would've only made sense
i really like this version and jias rap *___*

Date: 2012-11-02 04:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] markthatcoin.livejournal.com
I thought it was strange they didn't change that as well. Is jinjja used as slang in Chinese-speaking areas?

Date: 2012-11-02 05:01 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] markthatcoin.livejournal.com
Hmm strange. I wonder why they decided this....

I think they did this to still have some individuality between the girls, as Min is the one saying it and she is one of the Korean girls. But I don't know for sure..

I love Jia and Fei's pronunciation in miss A's Chinese version of their songs. They really should have used zhende because the random Korean doesn't fit and is quite annoying.

Still, I love miss A's Chinese versions of their songs because Jia and Fei sing them so well! It flows so well. I love their pronunciation.

Yes they are, they've appeared on shows in China and Tawain iirc. Their sales seem to be good too. They were received well. :)

Woow. It does sound really good in Chinese.
I would like to know, how are Suzy's and Min's pronunciation ? They seem pretty confident, especially Min during the rap part. I thought she was going in English but, oh, chinese as well. It's really cool.
Fei and Jia sounded perfect, but that's no surprise ! And Jia's rap... Flawless.

suzy and min's pronunciation are REALLY good, i'm very impressed. you can hear the accent when they pronounce the r's but it's probably the best chinese pronunciation i've heard from a kpop group.
