Big Bang′s T.O.P will be released from the hospital today.
On September 21, T.O.P hurt the back of his hand on some shattered glass while shooting an action scene for the film The Alumni. The injury turned out to be more severe than first thought, and so the singer had to receive emergency surgery on the morning he arrived at the hospital. He has been resting ever since, and in a phone call with enews on September 23, YG Entertainment said, "T.O.P is currently resting. He plans to be released tomorrow (September 24). If the pain is still severe, however, he may stay for one more day."
After T.O.P suffered his injury, his agency and the film′s production company held an emergency meeting regarding schedule changes and postponements, concentrating on getting T.O.P back in top shape again. The singer himself, however, is determined to get through all his schedules, worried that his condition will bring harm to the progress of the film and Big Bang′s schedules.
For Big Bang, he must fly to Singapore on September 29 to attend the 2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour, which will continue for nine weeks. T.O.P has told his agency that he will be able to go on with the tour. Filming for The Alumni, however, will in the meantime be affected by his injury as he needs to keep a bandage around his hand for two or three weeks to recover.

A year ago I posted about Multi-Ethnic, Canadian group ESQ and how they were set to debut in Korea. Well, it's been over a year now and we've heard nothing so last night I tweeted Jihoo (blonde one) and got this response:

So yeah...I'm kinda bummed because I wanted to see Korea's reaction to Kyle (white guy). Anyways, I guess we can still look forward to K9 and Kyunmin's debuts. From what I remember from performance footage they were pretty talented. Also, this is the first reply I've ever gotten from someone who was somewhat k-pop related so yay for me lol.

She has recently posted a youtube link on twitter of a music video by none other than Psy’s- no, not “Gangnam Style” – but his follow up single aka “Gangnam Style 2”, “Oppa’s Just My Style.” She included the words “nighty night” making anyone guess if watching K-Pop videos is a nighttime hobby of hers.

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In has just revealed the first video teaser for her upcoming solo album, ‘Talk About S.‘!
As mentioned earlier, her solo album contains five songs including “Tinkerbell“, “Meet Her“, “Bloom“, “Gaze“, and “Catch Me if You Can“.
With today’s video for “Tinkerbell” as a start, Ga In plans to introduce all the tracks on her album with a new teaser everyday.
Going along with the title of the song, Ga In transforms into Tinkerbell to visit a man she loves every night. Loen Entertainment stated, “‘Tinkerbell’ is a song that best represents Ga In and her charms as an artist.”

Korean rapper Psy can finally claim the moniker "YouTube sensation" as an official world record.
As his phenomenal music video "Gangnam Style" continues to rake in views, the Guinness World Records has declared it as the most liked video on YouTube.
"'Gangnam Style', which has only been available to view since July 15, has been 'liked' in excess of 2,141,758 times, making it the most liked video in YouTube history," according to a post on the Guinness World Records website.
As of this writing, "Gangnam Style" has been viewed 256 million times, liked by 2.56 million people and has become the favorite of 790,000 people. The music video also has 1.21 million comments.

Psy's track Gangnam Style has become a global phenomenon and the video featuring his famous horse-riding dance is YouTube's most "liked" of all time.
Last week's number 37, it climbed 34 places to three but failed to knock The Script's Hall of Fame from the top.

"World star" Psy revealed his upcoming plans in the United States.
During an MBC special called "MBC Special-Psy GO, It's Gangnam Style Now~!" Psy stated, "A philosopher once explained that when effort meets opportunity, it becomes luck. After hearing that, I think I always gave effort."
Psy continued, "Also, chances don't come to you each and every day. I have two thoughts: the feeling of emptying my thoughts and accept everything as I go and another thought that makes me want to push it to see how far I can go at the birthplace of pop since it's a first and last chance for me in the United States."
Psy gained international fame when his music video for "Gangnam Style" was released online via YouTube. Psy became an overnight global celebrity and began to appear on television shows in the United States. Psy even began to receive love calls from various celebrities from the United States including the person who gave him a chance for a future in the United States: Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber's manager. Currently, Psy's music video of "Gangnam Style" has been viewed over 250 million times on YouTube, creating a new record as a Korean singer.

Psy's jumpy dance hit "Gangnam Style" has taken the world by storm, leaving Koreans shocked and surprised.
The song broke out on YouTube and has jumped to No. 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in just two weeks. The distinctive "horse dance" is infectious. The popularity of the song is rapidly spreading from the U.S. to other countries.
The immense popularity of "Gangnam Style" caught Koreans off guard. As news of the phenomenon spread, many Koreans wondered if the reports were accurate or overblown. Previous failures at promoting K-pop in the U.S., one of the most intractable markets for ”hallyu,” or Korean wave, cultural products, enhanced the suspicions. Still others were confused because few would have predicted that Psy would become the first K-pop star to conquer the U.S.

As part of her audition for the variety show’s long-term project, the ‘family choir’, Yoonjo stood on stage with her family members to try out in front of the ‘Qualifications of Men’ members.
“I was practicing to debut along with the other Hello Venus members, but because of my leg injury I was unable to debut,” she said in her introduction. “My family comforted me a lot during that time.”
For the audition, Yoonjo performed a rendition of Handel‘s ‘Lascia ch’io pianga‘. Check out her amazing performance
