Olympic rhythmic gymnast SonYeon Jae is reported to have gone all out on ‘Running Man‘.

The September 2nd KST broadcast of SBS’ ‘Running Man’ will feature ‘2012 London Olympics‘ athletes, rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae and swimmer Park Tae Hwan, who participated in a breathtaking race.

After being kept in the dark for the past few days, fans of G-Dragon now have a date set in stone to look forward to: according to information leaked by a confidant to Star News, G-Dragon’s newest effort will consist of seven tracks and will launch on September 15th.

In addition to his previously-released songs – “One of a Kind” and “That XX” – the new album, titled “One of a Kind”, will also include five brand-new tracks.

His new album, his first since 2009, is expected to continue his trend of pursuing unique styles and standing out from the rest, and also raise the bar for his solo efforts.

"Tale of Arang" most expensive TV series sold of all time on MBC

Lee Joon-gi did it again and this time, the actor did it even before wrapping up his current TV series.

In a strong start to Korea's new drama season, "Tale of Arang" has been sold to Japan with a record-breaking sales amount that easily surpass the number set by this year's biggest hit, "Moon Embracing the Sun."

"What I can say is that this is even more surprising than the amazing record set by 'Moon Embracing the Sun'--100 million Korean won [about 882,000 in U.S. dollars] per episode," a PR official from MBC told the magazine Wednesday, refusing to reveal the exact amount.

Industry watchers assume Lee Joon-gi and Shin Min-a's starrer could have been measured up to 200 million won per episode, which makes the 20-part story worth a whopping number of 4 billion in total, around 3.5 million U.S. dollars.

Lee is one of the most wanted actors by TV and film producers, as not a few number of his previous works have been commercially successful in the country and other neighboring Asian countries as well.

Starting with the historical pic "The King and the Clown" (2005), the actor's film "Fly, Daddy, Fly" (2006), TV series "Iljimae" (SBS, 2008) and "Time Between Dog And Wolf” (MBC, 2007)" have all made a significant contribution not only to Lee's personal acting resume but to the producers.

Due to confidentiality reasons, the official said she cannot open up yet about which broadcaster and when "Tale of Arang" will air in Japan but did confirm it will take a while to seal the deal with the firm it is in negotiations with.

Kara’s Gyuri Lost 6 Kilograms For Comeback + Would Film An Adult Movie

Kara‘s Gyuri showed confidence in her body.

On the most recent episode of MBC TV’s “Quiz To Change the World” that was aired on the evening of September 1, Kara’s Gyuri was asked if she would film an adult movie if she were offered a role.

To this Gyuri answered honestly, “I think it’s important to keep a record (of my body) when I’m the prettiest. If the plot of the movie is okay, I’m alright with exposing my body.”

When the follow-up question of whether or not if she was confident with her body, Gyuri replied, “It’s not bad. I lost six kilograms as I prepared for our comeback. If my previous image was that glamour, now I’m a bit curvier and prettier,” and showed confidence.

Thor and Peeta unite against North Korean takeover

Hollywood's heart-throbs, Cris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and the Josh Peck, take on the roles of American teens fighting to take back their small town from North Korean occupation. Scheduled to arrive in theatres Nov. 21st, Red Dawn is a remake of the 1984 film of the same name. There has already been plenty of criticism aimed at the film, due to it's absurd fanciful premise and depiction of Koreans. The actors starring as the main North Korean characters, Will Yun Hee, Kenneth Choi, and Ron Yuan, are ironically all American-Asians. More surprisingly, the invading army was originally scripted as Chinese (PRC), until photos from the set of propoganda featuring People's Liberation Army symbols and script excerpts were leaked. The film's initial scheduled release, Nov. 24 2010, was scraped due the contreversy. Do you think the film should've been stalled for good?

Cray Cray Unification Church founder (self-proclaimed messiah) dies at 92

Rev. Moon Sun-myung, the founder of the Unification Church, a business and media mogul, died today in a hospital in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi. He was 92. The religious leader passed away shortly before 2 a.m. at the Cheongshim International Medical Center, Unification Church-affiliated hospital, due to complication from pneumonia.
