As much as fans have anticipated Kara’s return to the K-Pop world, it appears the girls have put a lot of effort into their comeback as well.
The girls sat down for a brief interview following their performance of Pandora at the showcase,, where MC Park Ji Yoon asked about the girls’ new and improved sexy image.
In response to MC Park Ji Yoon’s comment that the girls look much more mature since their last promotion cycle, leader Park Gyuri said, “Girls get prettier as time goes on,” drawing laughs from the other members.
All jokes aside, however, Park Gyuri said she lost 5 kg for the group’s comeback.
Member Goo Hara also said she put some time in at the gym to tone up her figure after being teased for having a choding’s, or elementary school student’s, body.

At 5:36PM of the 22nd, SBS officially announced that T-ara's Eunjung would be leaving "Five Fingers". Until the previous night (21st), Eunjung was still practising her lines. To her surprise, in less than a day, she received news that she was dropped from "Five Fingers".
What actually happened within this day? Let's summarise what the drama production company, Eunjung, and Jin SeYeon etc have said.
At 4PM on the 21st, Eunjung and the writers met and had a discussion about the drama and the script. Dinner was had alongside this meeting which went on until very late. During the meeting, everybody encouraged each other and expressed their desire to make this drama a success.
Eunjung was scheduled to film her first scene for on the 22nd. She was orginally scheduled to film on the 18th, but because her character Hong Dami appears from the fifth episode, her first filming was delayed until the 22nd.
On the after noon of the 21st, ChangWook joined later in the meeting and practised his lines with Eunjung. In the drama, Ji ChangWook and Eunjung and Joo JiHoon are involved in a love triangle. ChangWook and Eunjung practised their lines for 3-4 hours before separating.
As Eunjung was preparing for her first filming, something unexpected happened. The drama producers late into the afternoon approached Jin SeYeon to see whether she can join "Five Fingers". SeYeon expressed: "If Eunjung is leaving the show, I can appear in the drama." This means that while the writers and producers were encouraging Eunjung, at the same time, they were also approaching other replacement actors with the possibility of dropping Eunjung.
At 12pm noon on the 22nd, news about Eunjung leaving was released. Eunjung's management agency also felt surprised at what had happened within a day. Eunjung after seeing the news remained silent, and her management agency expressed shock.
Netizens have expressed displeasure at the way the producers and SBS have acted inappropriately, at how they gave an unilateral notice of termination when the acting contract had already been signed. Netizens have also expressed disappointment at the production company and at SBS for not fully discuss the situation with Eunjung before discussing Jin YeSeon's joining of "Five Fingers."

Nell will be holding their new concert series, ‘Standing in the Rain‘, in September!
‘Standing in the Rain’ will be held at the Bluesquare Samsung Card Hall from September 20th through the 23rd. This will be Nell’s first concert in five months since their sold-out concert, ‘The Lines‘.
Nell stated, “We are preparing for performances that are different from the ones we have done in the past. This will be an intimate concert with 1,000 audience members who will be close enough to the stage so that we can be in tune with them throughout the performances.”
Tickets will go on sale starting August 22nd on Interpark.

Lee Byung-hun plans a lawsuit

After admitting that he was indeed seeing actress Lee Min-jung, Hallyu actor Lee Byung-hun, left, has decided to sue entertainer and former baseball player Kang Byung-kyu for making fun of his love life.
According to a spokesperson for Apex law firm, Kang has soiled their client's image on Twitter since Lee announced Sunday that he is dating the actress 12 years his junior. "As well as implying that Lee Byung-hun has gotten Lee Min-jung pregnant, he keeps referring to Lee Byung-hun as a 'pervert,'" the spokesperson said.
Since both Lees confirmed the dating rumors, Kang has made an array of comments online.
When Lee Byung-hun used his Web site to tell fans he had "found someone very special," Kang countered by tweeting, "Another special person? Just how many special people have you found so far?"
Ever the active twitter user Kang told his followers that a movie about the dynamic love life of Lee would make an interesting film.
Meanwhile, netizens seem to be on the side of Kang, with many of his 17,000-plus followers cheering him on.

She’s in her first leading role as Geu-rim, a student at an arts high school who dreams of becoming a pop singer.

I know nothing about the male lead and his band but he is so beautiful as Irene, I can't ;A;. I am intrigued to watch this drama upon reading the drama's 1st episode recap on dramabeans. This drama seems refreshing and certainly will be my guilty pleasure but as of now, no english sub is available as yet for the drama. wae?! /frustrated ;A;

Super Junior’s Donghae has transformed from a fresh young boy to a sexy man.
On August 21, the fashion magazine W Korea released an impressive pictorial of Donghae, who is currently appearing Channel A's new drama series Panda and Hedgehog with actress Yoon Seung Ah. Donghae not only revealed his healthy and cut physique, but also portrays an emotional man.
The pictorial, which was created under the concept of Me & Myself, shows Donghae’s mature look as an actor through a glass panel and gives Donghae the spotlight he deserves, as he is an idol group member that confidently grew as an individual and made a successful transformation into an actor. Donghae explained that he watched what he ate and worked out regularly for this particular role, which explained his new figure. He displayed a more sensual side of himself, both as a man and an actor.
Despite the fact that he stayed up all night promoting Super Junior’s new song Spy and shooting the drama series, Donghae surprised the crew by completely focusing on the photo shoot.
The photographer says, Donghae has become a man with a deep loving gaze in only two years from a fresh young boy that I saw in June, 2010. She seems to be right, as Donghae looks better than he’s ever had.

SM Entertainment‘s female soloist J-Min will be holding a performance on this week’s ‘Inkigayo‘!
Having lent her voice for “Stand Up“, the main title theme song for SM and SBS‘s drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘, J-Min will now take to the stage to perform the track live.
The song has already garnered much attention from the viewers of the drama with its strong guitar and drum sounds, and it should be a treat to see J-Min perform it live, especially since Trax‘ Jungmo is planning on playing the guitar for the performance.
J-Min made her debut in Japan first back in 2007 and has performed during SMTOWN concerts as well as having participated in OSTs for dramas like ‘Moo Shin‘, ‘The King 2 Hearts‘, and more. She is also currently working as a musical actress in ‘Jack the Ripper‘.
